Here is the Yat Tung Heen lunch menu.
The dim sum selections are on the very last photo, so keep scrolling!

My husband and I ordered tea, three types of dim sum, a meat dish, and dessert.

First up was the tea service.
Oolong tea pairs absolutely perfectly with dim sum. It cuts right through the richness of the food!
It wasn't overly bitter and had a beautiful, subtle aroma.
The specific oolong tea we ordered was the Fragrance Tieguanyin (清香鐵觀音).
(* It's the 6th item on the tea menu)

Here are the complimentary side dishes.
They served a mix of vegetables and dipping sauces.
From what I've read, the side dishes aren't always the same and change slightly depending on the day.

Steamed Pork Dumplings
Scallop & Shrimp
We ordered this because we really wanted to try dim sum with scallops.

The scallop on top was incredibly plump, and the inside was packed with a flavorful mix of shrimp and pork. The texture and taste were phenomenal.

Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow)
The dumpling wrapper was wonderfully chewy, and the shrimp inside was as plump as it gets.

Honestly, when you're getting dim sum, a steamer basket of Har Gow is an absolute non-negotiable.
Eating authentic dim sum right here in Hong Kong is just an unbeatable experience!

Steamed Rice Rolls
Minced Beef, Coriander & Scallion
These are rice rolls (cheung fun) filled with minced beef, cilantro, and green onions!
I ordered it out of pure curiosity after seeing the name on the menu, but to be completely honest, it was just okay ㅠㅠ
It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow me away either. Yat Tung Heen is famous for their crispy rice rolls, so I highly recommend getting those instead.

Roasted Pork Belly
A friend recommended this dish to me, and it is hands down one of Yat Tung Heen's signature meat dishes for a reason. It is spectacular.

It comes with a side of mustard sauce, and a light dip takes the flavor to a whole new level.
It's seasoned quite generously, so it leans a bit on the salty side, but that crackling, crispy skin is absolutely insane...

The pork skin is unbelievably crispy and slightly chewy, while the meat underneath is melt-in-your-mouth tender. A true masterpiece.

Chilled Mango Roll
For dessert, we finished off with the chilled mango rolls.
They feature a chewy outer layer coated in shredded coconut, wrapping around sweet, fresh mango.

You already know coconut and mango are a match made in heaven.
The chewy texture of the wrapper was delightful, making it the perfect sweet ending to our meal.

Everything we ate was fantastic.
(I did *a lot* of research reading reviews before ordering!)
Honestly, I highly recommend everything on our list except for the beef rice rolls.
Swap out the regular steamed rice rolls for their famous crispy rice rolls instead!
