Yang Come Village Review: Chiang Mai Lanna Oasis
An honest review of Yang Come Village Hotel in Chiang Mai. Discover its beautiful Lanna-style rooms, lush gardens, pool, and unbeatable location.
When planning my trip to Chiang Mai,
one of the things I agonized over the most was where to stay.
After debating between Nimmanhemin and Old Town,
the place I finally chose was
Yaang Come Village Hotel
A resort featuring traditional Thai Lanna-style buildings, lush green gardens,
and a spacious swimming pool.
The moment you step inside the hotel,
you can truly feel the unique vibe of Chiang Mai.

Since most of the guests were Western travelers rather than Koreans,
it had a much more relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Plus, the location was so great
that I highly recommend it for independent travelers.
In this post, I've put together everything from room reviews to the pool, breakfast,
location, and even a price comparison all in one place.

Location & Accessibility of Yaang Come Village, Chiang Mai
Yaang Come Village is located right between Old Town and the Night Bazaar,
making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
While it's definitely close enough to walk,
Chiang Mai is a city where Grab fares are unbelievably cheap,
so I'd highly recommend taking a Grab instead of walking during the hot daytime.

Most tourist spots can be reached for just ~$2,
saving you both time and energy.
Night Bazaar: approx. 5-minute walk
Warorot Market: approx. 12-minute walk
Tha Phae Gate: approx. 5 minutes by Grab
On top of that, I booked a Mon Jam tour and a Chiang Rai tour,
and they both picked me up right in front of the hotel lobby,
which made starting my day trips super easy.
There are convenience stores, supermarkets,
and cozy cafes nearby, making it extremely convenient.

Traditional Thai Lanna-Vibe Resort
Unlike typical modern hotels,
Yaang Come Village is a resort built in the traditional Thai Lanna style.
You can feel a deeply traditional atmosphere—much like a traditional Hanok in Korea—
and with the beautifully manicured gardens and towering trees,
you get the ultimate feeling of relaxing in nature right in the middle of the city.

There are walking paths and even a small library inside the resort,
making it perfect for winding down and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.
It's also an incredibly photogenic spot,
so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with that perfect aesthetic vibe.

Family 2-Bedroom Suite Review
For this trip, I traveled with my parents (3 of us in total),
so we stayed in the Family 2-Bedroom Suite (66㎡).

Featuring one double bed and two single beds,
it is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults.

The room was incredibly spacious,
so we could lay out multiple suitcases without feeling cramped at all.
The beds were super cozy and plush,
and the overall cleanliness of the room was top-notch.
Since we were in Thailand, I was a little worried about bugs, but over our 2-night stay,
the place was so well-maintained that we didn’t see a single one.

Why I Recommend This Chiang Mai Pool Hotel
The absolute highlight of Yaang Come Village
was, hands down, the outdoor swimming pool.
Especially in the Old Town area,
it's incredibly rare to find a pool of this size.

It's a spacious 25-meter outdoor pool with a depth ranging from 1 to 1.5 meters, making it perfect for a relaxed swim.
It wasn't crowded at all, so we could enjoy a peaceful swim at our own pace.

Surrounded by lush palm trees and beautiful gardens,
it felt like stepping into a tropical resort paradise.
Unwinding on the sunbeds after a day of sightseeing was pure bliss,
and it’s an incredibly photogenic spot for your photos!

A Breakfast That Exceeded Expectations (Highly Recommended)
From fresh fruits and salads to pastries and hot dishes,
there was a great variety, and everything tasted absolutely wonderful.

Above all, having a relaxing breakfast
while gazing out at the lush garden was the perfect way to start the day.
I had the breakfast here every single day of my 3-day stay,
and the selection of fruits and dishes changed slightly each day
so it never got boring and was absolutely delicious every morning.

Even though it's the same breakfast buffet,
the daily variations made it feel so much fresher.
Taking our time to enjoy breakfast and start the day slowly
at the resort was such a precious, peaceful experience.

Super Friendly Staff & Convenient Amenities
The staff members were incredibly kind.
From check-in to check-out, they always greeted us with warm smiles and quickly resolved any requests we had.

You can leave your room key at the front desk whenever you head out.
It actually gave us peace of mind since we didn't have to worry about losing it!

Above all, I highly recommend visiting the cafe right in front of the resort.
We ended up going back multiple times during our trip because
the coffee is seriously amazing.
