Discover Horizon Village & Resort Chiang Mai in 2026! This massive, nature-friendly retreat offers serene relaxation and a private pool experience, perfect for your next getaway.

While preparing for a trip to Chiang Mai,
I was looking for a place where I could relax quietly within the resort
and explore various things.
A person living in Chiang Mai recommended
Horizon Village & Resort, so I visited.
It was a much larger place than I expected,
and there was quite a lot to see,
enough to explore during a one-day stay.
In fact, one day wasn't nearly enough! :)

1. Horizon Village Location
Horizon Village & Resort
is located a bit far from the Old Town.
It takes about 30 minutes
to get there by taxi from the Old Town.
Since it's far from the Old Town,
it's a great place for a quiet getaway.
All facilities are available within the resort,
so I could stay comfortably without any inconvenience :)

200 Moo 7 Road Tumb Tambon Choeng Doi, Amphoe Doi Saket, Chang Wat Chiang Mai 50220 Thailand

This Horizon Village & Resort
has a very large area, so we always
moved around by golf cart.
If you're looking for an eco-friendly accommodation,
I highly recommend this place :)

2. Deluxe Premium Room
I stayed in a Deluxe Premium Room.
This room section has a separate private pool
that guests can use, which was great!
Unlike typical large resort pools
where people tend to crowd,
I could swim leisurely without it feeling crowded :)

3. Room Condition
For the Deluxe Premium Room,
you can choose between a King bed or Twin beds.
I stayed in a Twin bed room~
It was perfect for my friend and I to relax comfortably.

Horizon Village & Resort in Chiang Mai
doesn't feel like a cutting-edge modern hotel,
but rather exudes a unique, cozy,
and tranquil traditional Chiang Mai ambiance~
The rooms are designed in the traditional Northern Thai
Lanna style of Chiang Mai,
giving them an overall comfortable feel :)
The price for the Deluxe Premium Room I stayed in
can be booked for a great value at around ~$55,
and if you don't need a guest-exclusive pool,
there are cheaper rooms available for around ~$28,
even for a 4-star resort!

The room was equipped with basic amenities,
so I didn't experience any particular inconvenience
during my stay.
Toiletries were also provided,
so washing up after swimming was no problem :)

Plus, there's a private terrace, so
you can relax surrounded by nature!
But, of course, you'll want to watch out for mosquitoes on the terrace, right? Haha.
Mosquito repellent is a must!!⭐

Anyway, with thoughtful interior design everywhere,
it felt clean and well-organized,
and all the necessary facilities were perfectly equipped.

There were also bathrobes, indoor slippers, and extra blankets.

4. Guests-Only Swimming Pool
So, after checking in,
my friends and I headed straight to the guests-only pool!!

It must have been a quiet day,
because we had the pool all to ourselves,
and got to enjoy it with a completely private feeling! ><

It felt like we had rented out the entire pool just for ourselves...!!

I've gained a bit of weight lately, sigh ㅠㅠ haha.
I hurriedly ordered this swimsuit right before coming to Chiang Mai,
and it wasn't really my favorite... haha.
But I just brought it along and wore it anyway, given the rush.
Looking at the photos, I definitely feel like I need to go on a diet ㅠㅠ.

Anyway, my friends and I took photos of each other,
and it was so good to play in the pool after such a long time~

Above all, the best part was having it all to ourselves, haha.
Since it's for guests only,
if you're lucky on the day you visit,
you might get to enjoy it as if you've rented the whole place out, just like us!

And Horizon Village & Resort is more than just a place to stay;
it's a place too wonderful to just see as lodging!
The resort itself is incredibly spacious,
and with well-maintained walking paths,
it was perfect for leisurely strolls :)
Best of all, there's a botanical garden designed like a zoo and a botanical garden combined,
a true botanical garden,
The scale is so immense that it's difficult to explore the entire resort
in just one day!
That's why Horizon Village & Resort is
better suited for a trip where you spend several days relaxing and walking around the resort itself,
rather than just using it as a place to sleep.
It's the perfect place to truly unwind and take your time :)
If you're like me and want to dedicate at least one day of your trip to
set aside your sightseeing plans and simply relax at the resort,
this place will be perfect for you! ^^

5. Conclusion
Oh, and the Khao Soi I had at the restaurant on-site
was absolutely delicious!!
It was Khao Soi with a whole chicken leg,
and seriously, it was so incredibly tasty...!!
The presentation was beautiful too,
and the price wasn't even expensive for a resort,
so it felt a bit like playing rich, haha.
If you're looking for family accommodation in Chiang Mai,
or someone who wants to enjoy a relaxing trip with your parents,
I especially recommend it!
I'd love to bring my parents here next time~
The guests-only pool I stayed at can be used by
If you manage to snag an early booking for a Deluxe Premium Room,
the price can be incredibly affordable, around ~$55,
offering fantastic value for money! :)
And if you opt for a room without a private pool,
even for a 4-star resort, you're looking at an amazing deal, starting from around ~$28!
That's seriously unbeatable value!!
