3-Night, 4-Day Xi'an, China Travel Itinerary
📚3-Night, 4-Day Private Package Tour Itinerary for Xi'an, China
Day 1: Xi'an Airport → Defachang (Lunch) → Xi'an City Wall → Xi'an Museum & Small Wild Goose Pagoda → Muslim Quarter → Hotel

On the first day of our Xi'an, China package tour,
we arrived at the airport just in time for lunch, so we comfortably traveled to the restaurant
in our private vehicle.

For lunch, we headed to Defachang.
Defachang is a famous dumpling restaurant in Xi'an,
renowned for its "Jiaozi Banquet" (dumpling banquet), where you can enjoy a course meal of dumplings
with various shapes and fillings. It was wonderful to experience China's traditional dumpling culture
right from the very first itinerary stop.

📍 Xi'an City Wall
Xin Cheng District, Xi'an City, China Postal Code: 710003
After a hearty lunch, we headed to Xi'an City Wall,
one of Xi'an's iconic historical sites. It's one of the best-preserved ancient city walls,
and the captivating part was being able to walk atop the wall and take in the old city views of Xi'an.

📍 Xi'an Museum
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
📍 Small Wild Goose Pagoda
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
Next, we visited the Xi'an Museum, where you can explore Xi'an's history and culture
at a glance. We also got to see the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built during the Tang Dynasty located near the museum. It's truly a rewarding itinerary if you're interested in ancient artifacts or history.

📍 Xi'an Muslim Dasi Residential Quarter
90 Bei Guang Ji Jie, 钟楼商圈 Lian Hu Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710008
The last stop on our first day was the Muslim Quarter.
This vibrant street was bustling with a variety of street foods.
The pomegranate juice, a must-try in Xi'an, was included in our package itinerary, so our guide treated us to one each.
During our free time, we also enjoyed Ruixing Coffee and tasted Shizibing, a traditional Xi'an snack made from persimmons, wrapping up the day perfectly.
Day 2
Hotel → Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang + Underground Palace → Terracotta Army → Huaqing Pool → Silk Road Show → Xingjiao Temple → Dinner (Peking Duck) → North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda + Fountain Show → Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City (Night View) → Hotel

📍 Underground Palace of the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum
136 Qin Ling Bei Lu, Lin Tong Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710699
Our first stop on the second day was the **Underground Palace of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang**.
Actually, I heard that not many people visit this place because it's about a 15-minute drive from the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang itself.
But since we had a private package, we used a dedicated vehicle
and visited it before exploring the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang.
It had more diverse attractions than I expected,
and the way they recreated Emperor Qin Shi Huang's underground palace, even if it's based on imagination,
was truly impressive!

📍 Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor
Lintong District, Xi'an City, China 邮政编码: 710608
After exploring the Underground Palace of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang,
we took an electric cart to explore the **Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang**.

📍 Terracotta Army
Shaanxi, Lintong District, Xi'an City, China 邮政编码: 710612
Next, we moved on to the highlight of any Xi'an trip: the **Terracotta Army**!
Seeing countless soldiers that I'd only ever seen in textbooks in person,
I finally felt like I had truly arrived in Xi'an.
It was a moment I had dreamed of for a long time, and I was so happy!✨

For lunch, we had **Biangbiang Noodles**, a must-try dish when you're in Xi'an.
I was first surprised by the plate, which was bigger than my face,
and the wide, chewy noodles were absolutely captivating.
It was delicious on its own,
but enjoying it with a beer was truly the icing on the cake!

📍 Huaqing Hot Springs
38 Hua Qing Lu, Lin Tong Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710699
Next up was the **Huaqing Hot Springs**, an imperial spa resort
where Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and his beloved concubine Yang Guifei once resided.
As I explored the various bathhouses designed for Yang Guifei and the beautiful scenery,
I even found myself wishing I could live like Yang Guifei, just for a day!

Next, we went to watch the Silk Road Show performance.
The audience seats actually moved?! That was really fascinating!
Since it was a trip to China, I was a bit worried that the performance would be
entirely in Chinese.
However, there were Korean subtitles, which made it easy to follow the storyline,
and I really enjoyed being able to watch it without any language barrier!

📍 Daxingshan Temple
55 Xing Shan Si Xi Jie, Yan Ta Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
After the performance, we headed to Daxingshan Temple.
There were many people lighting candles and making wishes!
During my free time, I also lit a candle and wished for my family's health and happiness.

For dinner, we had Peking Duck, which is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Chinese cuisine!
The crispy skin and succulent meat were absolutely delightful.

📍 Dayan Pagoda South Square
6X87+CM9, Ci En Lu, Qujiang Commercial District, Yan Ta Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710063
After dinner, we enjoyed a fountain show at the **Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Square**,
where splendid lights and music came together in a spectacular display.

📍 Datang Everbright City
Qujiang Commercial District, Yanta South Road 6X87+2RP, Yan Ta Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 邮政编码: 710063
Afterward, we walked to **Datang Everbright City**.
There, we explored dazzling Tang Dynasty-style architecture, a variety of street food,
and souvenirs.
The atmosphere was so immersive, it felt like we had traveled back in time to the Tang Dynasty,
which was truly impressive.
What was particularly unique was seeing Tang Dynasty-style Wanghong experiences.
Day 3: Mount Hua (West Peak IN, North Peak OUT) → Full Body Massage → Dinner (Lamb Skewers) → Hotel

📍 Mount Hua
Huayin City, Weinan City, China 邮政编码: 714299
Day three was dedicated to climbing **Mount Hua**, one of China's Five Great Mountains.
As someone who isn't particularly fond of exercise, I was a bit worried if I'd be able to make it to the top,
As we rode the cable car up, we soaked in the magnificent scenery,
and walking along the well-maintained climbing path turned out to be much easier than I expected!

As I was enjoying Gimbap for lunch, I looked around and noticed something amazing:
the clouds were right there, seemingly within reach! It was truly breathtaking.
As expected from one of China's "Five Great Mountains,"
the sheer scale of it was absolutely awe-inspiring.

After the exhilarating Huashan climb, the next item on our itinerary was the perfect way to unwind:
a relaxing massage session!
It was absolutely wonderful to soothe my tired muscles, and I was completely satisfied!

After soothing our fatigue with that fantastic massage post-Huashan climb,
it was already time for dinner!
For dinner, we headed to a lamb skewer spot that locals absolutely love, a true hidden gem!
They ordered a spread for us – not just delicious lamb skewers, but also fragrant fried rice,
and even a spicy clam dish! We tried such a fantastic variety of local delights.
정말 배부르게 먹었어요.
I ate until I was absolutely stuffed!
After our meal, we rounded off the day sweetly with something that's an absolute must-try on any China trip:
a popular Chazhi dessert!
Day 4: Forest of Steles Museum → Xianyang Airport

📍 Xi'an Beilin (Forest of Steles Museum)
15 San Xue Jie, Bei Lin Qu, Xi'an Shi, Shanxi Sheng, China 710001
On our final day, before heading to the airport,
we made a fascinating stop at the Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum.
While the steles intricately carved with elegant calligraphy and detailed drawings were incredibly impressive,
I personally found the grand yet delicate sculptures particularly captivating.
With so much more to explore than I anticipated, it was a truly enriching way to conclude our Xi'an adventure,
immersed in history and art.

I'd say you can definitely set those food worries aside and dive right in!

✈️ My Review of the Independent Package Tour to Xi'an, China
The incredible tour package I chose was from Sesange Eomneun Yeohaeng (A Trip Like No Other),
their "Xi'an: The Immortal City Where History Breathes – 3 Nights, 4 Days" package.
You know how some places advertise China tours as "no shopping, no optional tours,"
but then you often hear reviews about hidden shopping stops or extra options once you're on the tour?
I admit, I was a little bit concerned about that this time too!
However, I'd used Sesange Eomneun Yeohaeng for a trip to Taiwan before,
and it was genuinely a "no shopping, no optional tours, no tips" experience,
so I trusted them completely this time around as well. And guess what?
This Xi'an 3-night, 4-day package tour absolutely lived up to its promise:
it was truly "no shopping, no optional tours, no tips!"
For anyone out there who's been hesitant about package tours due to worries about forced shopping or unexpected additional options,
I wholeheartedly recommend Sesange Eomneun Yeohaeng's "Xi'an: The Immortal City Where History Breathes – 3 Nights, 4 Days" package.
