Studio Harbor Ocean: The perfect room for a multi-night stay

This week, I had a lecture scheduled at Inha University in Incheon, so I was looking for a place to stay for a few nights.

Urbanstay Incheon Chinatown was the perfect choice. It's relatively close to Inha University, and when I'm on business trips, I find residence-style accommodations much more convenient than standard hotels since they offer a microwave, a fridge, and kitchenware.

Here is my review of my 3-night stay in the Studio Harbor Ocean room at Urbanstay Incheon Chinatown.

Getting There & Parking

Urbanstay Incheon Chinatown is about a 12-minute walk from both Sungui Station and Sinpo Station.

Parking is available from basement level B1 all the way down to B6. On my first day, I rushed to the hotel right after class, worried there wouldn't be any spaces left. But once I got there, I found the parking lot to be spacious and super easy to navigate.

Once you register your license plate number according to the check-in instructions sent to your phone, you can enter and exit freely during your stay (1 vehicle per room).

How to Book

You can book Urbanstay Incheon Chinatown by selecting your dates and room type on their official app or via various booking platforms.

When I was booking, Trip.com had the best rate, so I booked the Studio Harbor Ocean room for 3 nights at ~$138.

That works out to about ~$46 per night.

Check-in & Check-out Process

Urbanstay Incheon Chinatown operates entirely contact-free, so you don't need to visit a front desk to check in.

On the day of your arrival, your room number, passcode, and vehicle registration instructions will be sent to you via mobile message.

Simply register your car following the guide, enter the passcode on the door lock, and you’re in!

As someone who constantly locks herself out by leaving the key card inside, having a digital passcode was incredibly convenient.

Even though it's a contactless property, you can easily reach their virtual front desk on your mobile phone if you have any questions.

Check-out is just as easy: no front desk visits required. Just tidy up the room and check out by 11:00 AM.

📌 A Clean Room with a View of Incheon Port

As soon as I walked in, I loved the clean and bright vibe of the white-toned interior.

Since my lecture ran late into the evening, I arrived after dark and couldn't see the view on my first night. But waking up the next morning, I was greeted by a lovely, open view of Incheon Port in the distance. While it's not a direct, right-on-the-water ocean view, the wide-open horizon felt wonderfully refreshing.

The night view wasn't flashy, but it had its own quiet charm and was quite different from the daytime view.

📌 Cozy Bedding and a Spotless Bathroom

The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and I didn't experience any noticeable noise during my stay. It might have been particularly quiet because I stayed during the week.

The bathroom was spotless, and the water pressure in the shower was great. All the essentials—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer—were fully provided.

Since I was staying for multiple nights, I called to ask about fresh towels, and they contactlessly delivered them right to my door, along with extra bottled water and coffee capsules.

📌 Convenient Room Amenities for Multi-Night Stays

The room was fully stocked with kitchenware, a fridge, microwave, washing machine, steam iron, tableware, and even disposable food bags.

While I didn't do any heavy cooking myself, it was incredibly convenient for storing and heating up takeout food.

The disposable dish sponge was a huge plus for hygiene, and I absolutely loved that they provided coffee capsules!

What I Loved About It

• ​Equipped with a microwave, tableware, washing machine, coffee maker, steam iron, and induction cooktop, it was perfect and super convenient for a multi-night business trip.

• As a residence-style accommodation, it had tons of storage space, making it easy to unpack and keep things organized.

• The parking lot was spacious, the contactless check-in was seamless, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful when I called with a question.

Tips to Know Before You Go

• Toothbrush and toothpaste sets are not provided by default, but they are available for purchase.

• Room cleaning is a paid service, and rates vary depending on your room type.

• The luggage storage room on the 1st floor is accessible 24/7.

• Early check-in and late check-out can be requested through the mobile front desk, subject to an hourly fee.
