With a week-long trip to Incheon planned for next week, I found myself looking up accommodations, and **UH Flat The Songdo**—where I stayed twice last year—was the very first place that came to mind.
Although I really wanted to return, as a travel blogger, I felt the need to experience a new spot, so I booked elsewhere this time. Still, a part of me is lingering on UH Flat The Songdo! Haha.
Having stayed there myself in 2025, I found the rooms incredibly comfortable and the surrounding area fantastic for a relaxing escape. It's perfect for long-term stays and makes for an amazing urban staycation.
So today, I want to share my honest experience at **UH Flat The Songdo**, an accommodation that still holds a special place in my travel memories.

Getting There & Parking
UH Flat The Songdo is easily reachable on foot from Songdo Moonlight Festival Park Station (Incheon Line 1).
If you're driving, simply search for 'UH Flat The Songdo' or 'Songdo Halla Westernpark' on your navigation app.
There is a spacious underground parking lot inside the building. Even when arriving late after a long business day, I never had to worry about finding a spot, which was a huge relief.
After parking, make sure to note your vehicle's location and floor. The building is massive, and it's easy to get confused later. Guests get free parking, but you must register your license plate at the 1st-floor lobby desk after checking in.

Contactless Check-In Process
UH Flat The Songdo operates on a fully contactless, self-check-in system. On the day of your arrival, you'll receive your room number and passcode via text message, meaning there's no need to wait at a front desk for a physical key.
This setup was incredibly convenient, especially when arriving late and exhausted from work. I could head straight up to my room without any hassle, and not having to carry around a physical card key was a major plus.
(On a previous workation in Yeoncheon, I actually locked myself out of my room, so I definitely have a bit of a trauma with physical keycards! 😭)
Checking out is just as simple—just pack your bags and head out according to the instructions sent to your phone.
I've stayed in other accommodations within the same building before, but the check-in and check-out system at UH Flat The Songdo felt significantly smoother and more user-friendly.

Room Types & My Experience
During my two stays last year, I had the chance to experience two completely different room types.
📌 1A Flat Family
The Family type features two queen-sized beds, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.
The layout felt quite spacious, and I was absolutely in love with the ocean view overlooking the Incheon Grand Bridge.
It's an ideal choice for family trips or those looking for a relaxing staycation in Songdo.

📌 1C-1 Flat Studio
While the Studio type is more compact than the Family room, it was more than spacious enough for a solo business traveler.
It featured a highly functional desk perfect for laptop work, and came fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction stovetop, and even a washing machine—making it incredibly practical for multi-night stays.

Both rooms shared a clean, modern white-toned interior and the convenience of apartment-style living.
If you're traveling with a group, go for the Family type; if you're a solo business traveler or staying long-term, the Studio type is the way to go.
The Stunning Ocean View and Nightscape
One of the main reasons UH Flat The Songdo left such a lasting impression on me was the view from the window.
While the scenery may vary slightly depending on your room type and floor, my rooms offered a gorgeous view of the Songdo sea, the iconic Incheon Grand Bridge, and the sparkling city lights at night.
Even after a tiring day of work, sitting at the desk by the window and looking out at the glittering nightscape while working on my blog felt incredibly therapeutic.
Even though I was there for business, those moments made it feel like a true vacation.

What I Loved (Pros)
Contactless check-in/out makes late arrivals and early departures completely hassle-free.
You can request room cleaning during long stays simply by texting your away times.
Spacious underground parking garage makes parking stress-free.
The room is highly practical for business trips and extended stays, equipped with a desk, fridge, microwave, induction stove, and washer.
Stunning Songdo ocean views and nightscapes right from your window.
Things to Keep in Mind (Cons)
Some basic amenities like bottled water, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided, so make sure to pack your own.
You won't find typical hotel amenities like an on-site breakfast buffet or a swimming pool.
It feels more like a cozy residential apartment than a luxury, high-end hotel.

The Verdict
I spent a lot of time debating whether to book UH Flat The Songdo again for my upcoming trip. Although I ended up choosing a new spot just to have fresh content for my blog, UH Flat The Songdo remains a place I highly recommend.
If you're looking for a highly practical, budget-friendly residence hotel in Incheon that works perfectly for both business trips and staycations, UH Flat The Songdo is an excellent choice.

Guests can use the underground parking lot in the building for free. You simply need to register your license plate number at the 1st-floor lobby desk after check-in. Since the parking lot is quite spacious, it is recommended to remember your vehicle's location and floor level in advance.
