Location & Accessibility of Thee Vijit

Thee Vijit Lanna is located just outside the Tha Phae Gate.
Almost all the top spots you'll want to visit in Chiang Mai are within a 10-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient to get around.

📍 Within a 10-Minute Walk:
✔️ Warorot Market
✔️ Tha Phae Gate
✔️ Old Town restaurants & boutique shops
✔️ Mr. Pierre Currency Exchange
✔️ Khun Kae's Juice Bar
✔️ Popular local cafes
Since you can walk just about everywhere, you'll find yourself booking way fewer Grab rides!
The Room — Plunge Pool Room

The room I stayed in was the gorgeous Plunge Pool Room.
As soon as I walked in, I actually asked if it was a brand-new hotel. Turns out it's been open for about 4 years! It was incredibly clean, and everything felt completely fresh and new.
The layout was so smart and practical that it never felt cramped at all.

The space was perfectly divided, with seamless flow between the bed, TV console, wardrobe, full-length mirror, and vanity.

The Bathroom
The shower, toilet, and vanity are all completely separate, which is so convenient.

The shower booth extends deep into the space, and having the vanity and toilet in their own designated areas makes getting ready a breeze.

There's even a spacious 2-person bathtub positioned so you can catch up on TV while enjoying a relaxing soak or spa session.

The Amenities
They provide all the essentials like toothbrush sets, cotton swabs, and shower caps, alongside robes, slippers, and—get this—Thee Vijit's own custom pajamas!

I thought this was such a unique and thoughtful touch. Even at some 5-star resorts, you rarely get provided pajamas!
Breakfast: Unlimited Brunch Cafe Style

Unlike standard buffets, breakfast here is served à la carte, beautifully plated just like in a cozy brunch cafe. The best part? You can order absolutely anything on the menu, completely unlimited!

Eggs Benedict and Bruschetta

Thai dishes and fresh salad

Personally, I prefer à la carte breakfasts over buffets. There's just something so wonderful about eating food that has been freshly prepared and served piping hot.
Basic drinks, tea, and coffee are available at the self-serve station.

.

The croissants are served warm, and pairing them with a cup of coffee was pure bliss.
I love having my coffee with warm milk, and they went out of their way to heat the milk up for me. The staff was incredibly kind, making it such a lovely start to the day.
Free Activities & Minibar

Complimentary Minibar
You can enjoy the free minibar on the 3rd floor from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

There is also the Tee Visit Lanna Bar on the 2nd floor, which has a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a relaxing evening cocktail.

Khanom Krok Cooking Class
One of the most memorable parts of staying here was the Khanom Krok cooking class experience.
It's a hands-on activity where you get to make your own Khanom Krok (a traditional Thai coconut dessert). It was so much fun to have this kind of cozy, local experience right inside the hotel!

They offer three complimentary activities in total: an ice bath challenge, traditional Thai lantern making, and the cooking class. All you have to do is book the day before, and the session starts at 2:30 PM.
Since no one else signed up for the cooking class that day, I got a private lesson! I absolutely love this coconut dessert, so honestly, I was more focused on eating it than making it haha. Hanging out and cooking with the chef and staff was such a blast.
The Swimming Pool

While the swimming pool isn't huge, it is a heated pool, making it perfect for a swim regardless of the season.

The water was crystal clear and well-maintained, and they provide separate beach towels, making the whole experience super convenient.
