Songdo (송도) is well-known for hosting numerous festivals, especially at its prominent Songdo Moonlight Festival Park (송도달빛축제공원).

However, when you start looking for accommodation near Songdo Moonlight Festival Park, the prices can often make you pause.

The Stay Songdo (더 스테이 송도), located within Halla Western Park (한라 웨스턴파크) directly opposite the park, offers rooms starting from around ₩50,000 (~$38). This rate is typically available on weekdays.

It's a popular choice for those attending events like the Pentaport Rock Festival (펜타포트 락 페스티벌) or other concerts, as well as anyone seeking value-for-money accommodation in Songdo. That's why I've put together a price breakdown and review summary.

Walk Back to Your Room After the Show

The Stay Songdo is conveniently located just a 5 to 10-minute walk from Exit 4 of Songdo Moonlight Festival Park Station (송도달빛축제공원역).

Being in a mixed-use residential and commercial building directly across from Songdo Moonlight Festival Park means this short distance is a huge advantage, especially if you've been on your feet all day at an event like Pentaport.

The ground floor of Songdo Halla Western Park (송도 한라 웨스턴파크) is bustling with convenience stores, restaurants offering everything from Korean BBQ and Malatang to Gukbap, and coffee shops like Mega Coffee, Compose, and The Ventii. Many guests appreciate how easy it is to grab a late-night snack or meal after returning.

The Stay Songdo: Can You Really Find Rooms Under ₩50,000 (~$38)?

I checked the same room at The Stay Songdo on three different booking sites for the same date, and the listed prices varied quite a bit.

Always check the total price, including taxes and fees!

Agoda initially appeared to be the cheapest at ₩44,499 (~$34), but with taxes and fees, the total came to ₩54,132 (~$41).

MyRealTrip (마이리얼트립) showed a price of ₩48,137 (~$36), but including taxes, it was ₩53,137 (~$40). Ultimately, for that specific date, MyRealTrip offered the lowest price.

However, with the total prices including taxes ranging from around ₩53,000 (~$40) to ₩55,000 (~$42), the cancellation policy might be a more important factor than the slight price difference.

Both MyRealTrip's Standard Room and KKday (케이케이데이) offer free cancellation until 6:00 PM the day before, while Agoda's free cancellation cutoff was 10/21/2026. If your plans might change, the first two options offer more peace of mind.

MyRealTrip's 'No Cooking Room' option comes with a special perk: order an appetizer at Crown Hof (크라운호프) from Monday to Thursday, and you'll receive one complimentary frozen beer per person.

Keep in mind that this room type doesn't allow cooking, so if you plan to prepare your own meals, opt for a Standard Room instead.

Prices typically increase to over ₩100,000 (~$76) during weekends or festival periods, so if you have specific dates in mind, it's best to check availability and rates beforehand.

A recurring highlight in reviews is that it's a residence-style accommodation, offering a home-like experience.

Each room comes equipped with an induction stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and cooking utensils, making it easy to whip up simple meals or a bowl of ramen.

You'll also find a washing machine, dryer, capsule coffee machine, steam iron, and even a bidet – perfect for washing off sweaty clothes right away. This feature is especially appreciated by those returning from a rock festival!

The swimming pool on the 4th floor offers a discount for guests.

One family review mentioned enjoying a night swim and found the water to be comfortably warm, not cold. (It's a spot we visit annually too!)

High-floor rooms boast stunning views of the Incheon Bridge (인천대교) and Songdo's night skyline, with many reviews highlighting the impressive vistas.

Business travelers have praised the free and spacious parking, and with four elevators, waiting times are minimal.

On Agoda, with over 2,916 reviews, it still maintains an impressive rating of 8.4 out of 10, largely due to its excellent value for money and cleanliness.

However, to be completely honest, two common complaints frequently popped up in reviews.

First, the air conditioning. Since the building uses a central heating and cooling system, its operation might be inconsistent during transitional seasons. If you're booking during these times, it's wise to check its status beforehand.

Second, there's no water dispenser. Only two complimentary bottles of water are provided, so if you plan on cooking, it's a good idea to bring your own bottled water.

Check-in is handled via a self-service kiosk.
