Departure

I prefer a more relaxed pace when traveling, so I opted for the 2:30 PM slot.
The meeting point is super easy to find, just a 1-2 minute walk inland from the Riva Promenade, Split's main waterfront road. You can't miss it!
One thing I really appreciated about this tour was the quality of the boat. It was clean, comfortable, and felt quite luxurious, almost like a small yacht!
With only 8-10 people on board, it never felt crowded or noisy, allowing for a truly enjoyable experience.
When I went, it was just my friend and me, with everyone else being Western travelers. The scenery around Split is absolutely breathtaking, so you'll find yourself captivated by the views right from the start of the journey.

I recommend wearing a bikini or swimsuit as your top, and easy-to-remove shorts or a skirt for your bottom.
This tour doesn't involve jumping directly into the deep sea from the boat. Instead, you'll disembark at various beaches for swimming and relaxation. So, it’s perfect to wear comfortable clothes for the ride and then just slip off your bottoms once you arrive at a beach to jump right in!
Trogir
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Our first stop was Trogir, a charming historic town where the entire island is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's truly a place steeped in history!
This stop isn't for swimming; it's all about exploring the beautiful town.
From the moment we arrived, the scenery was just stunning. It felt like stepping into an adorable medieval village, offering a completely different vibe from Split.
Trogir's narrow streets are full of lovely cafes and restaurants.
Since we departed at 2:30 PM, I had already had lunch, so I enjoyed a coffee at a cafe and spent the rest of the time exploring. It was perfect!
Trogir is actually quite compact. You can easily explore every nook and cranny in about an hour to an hour and a half.
An hour-long stop on a tour is just the right amount of time to soak it all in.
Trogir's iconic landmark is St. Lawrence Cathedral, an ancient site that took an incredible 400 years to complete its current form.
While some tours skip Trogir, I truly believe it's a must-visit stop on any Split island tour.
Krknjasi Beach (Blue Lagoon)
4:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Our second stop was the stunning Krknjasi Beach, part of the famous Blue Lagoon.
The sight of people relaxing along the shore, surrounded by unbelievably clear, turquoise water, was absolutely picturesque and felt wonderfully exotic.
This spot is fantastic for snorkeling, with plenty of fish to see! However, there are quite a few large rocks under the water, so I highly recommend bringing aqua shoes.
Also, since the beach isn't soft sand but rather small pebbles, it's a good idea to bring a thick towel to sit on for extra comfort!
After a refreshing swim, drying off and simply relaxing on the beach felt like the quintessential European vacation experience.
I even brought a sandwich along, which was a perfect little snack to enjoy by the sea!
Barbara Beach
5:40 PM - 6:30 PM
Our third and final stop was Barbara Beach, a serene and secluded pebble beach tucked right next to Krknjasi Beach.
When we arrived at Barbara Beach, the sky started to cloud over a bit, which was a slight shame. However, the way the sunlight subtly filtered through the clouds onto the sea was incredibly beautiful.
The water at Barbara Beach is also remarkably clear, making it another excellent spot for swimming.
It got a little chilly due to the clouds, so I didn't swim for too long, but simply sitting there and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere was incredibly therapeutic.
If you're looking to truly savor the historic charm of Trogir town and the crystal-clear, serene waters of the Blue Lagoon beaches, all departing from Split, Croatia, then I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
The option to choose between morning or afternoon departures also makes it super easy to fit into your travel itinerary.
The boat rides between stops aren't too long either, so it’s a perfect, light excursion that you can enjoy without worrying about seasickness.
