today I'm going to share a review of the Sonocahm Gyeongju Breakfast Buffet.
The breakfast at Sonocahm Gyeongju
is already renowned
for its delicious and diverse food options.
I'll share my first-hand experience
and even some handy tips for your visit, all in one go!

Sonocahm Gyeongju Breakfast Hours

Part 1: 07:00 ~ 08:20
Part 2: 08:40 ~ 10:00
📌 When you pay for breakfast or check-in,
they will ask you to choose and reserve a time slot (Part 1 or Part 2).
Part 2 tends to get crowded,
so it can sell out early.
Sonocahm Gyeongju Chef's Kitchen DamEum Facilities
I figured Part 2 would be busy, so I booked Part 1 and arrived right at 7 AM!
Even so, perhaps because it was a Sunday,
there were quite a few people already!
The breakfast area at Sonocahm Gyeongju
features a full glass wall on one side, offering a lovely promenade view.
There's also a separate indoor area
specifically designed for families of four or more.
There are about four long buffet tables,
and the variety of food is truly impressive.
It was clear that many families were visiting,
either with young children or with their parents.
High chairs and children's tableware are readily available.
Sonocahm Gyeongju Chef's Kitchen DamEum Food Selection
The Sonocahm Gyeongju breakfast buffet boasts a total of
approximately 60 to 70 different menu items.
It's said that they offer this extensive selection, and both my father and I were incredibly satisfied with the breakfast.
Korean Food and Side Dish Corner
The Korean food selection offers a wide variety of soups,
namul (seasoned vegetables), kimchi, meats, and fish.
My father really enjoyed it because there were so many options.
I felt that the Korean food section was particularly well-curated.
Salads & Cold Dishes
You'll find a delightful variety, from fresh green salads and mixed salads,
to an array of smoked salmon, various hams, and cheeses.
It's perfect even for those who prefer a light breakfast to start their day!
Live Cooking Stations
For all you noodle lovers out there,
who doesn't adore a comforting bowl of pho in the morning?!
Sonohueem Gyeongju truly impressed with its diverse pho toppings and incredibly delicious broth!
On top of that, you can savor three kinds of delicious dim sum and
freshly made-to-order omelets!
Bakery & Desserts
Sonohueem Gyeongju's breakfast is an absolute dream for pastry enthusiasts,
and dessert lovers alike!
Among all the breakfast bakeries I've tried,
this one truly stands out as exceptionally delicious.
You'll find an impressive selection, including French toast, bread pudding, pancakes, and waffles –
desserts that are often hard to find at other breakfast buffets.
And the taste? Absolutely superb!
With fruits, yogurt, drinks, and coffee all available,
it's perfect for dessert,
and the menu was thoughtfully put together to delight kids too.
From Korean cuisine and bakery items to freshly made pho,
the selection caters to every taste,
if you're traveling with kids and parents, I highly recommend dedicating at least one day of your trip to
enjoying their breakfast!!

Breakfast is operated in two sessions: Session 1 (07:00~08:20) and Session 2 (08:40~10:00). Please note that Session 2 can get crowded and may sell out early.
The live cooking station offers warm rice noodles, three types of dim sum, and freshly made omelets. The rice noodles are said to have various toppings and delicious broth.
