Room Differences
When it comes to Sonno Calm Gyeongju rooms,
it's easiest to choose by **first considering whether you need cooking facilities.**
The most popular room types are primarily the **Family** room,
and the Deluxe **Suite A** and **Suite B**, making three main types.
The **Family** room is a **cooking-enabled** type,
where you can easily prepare simple meals in your room.
If you need to prepare meals specifically for children,
or if you're staying for several days and want to save on dining out expenses,
choosing the Family room can be super convenient.
Plus, among the three room types, it's also the **most affordable option.**
At around 11 pyeong (36.3㎡), it's about half the size of the suites,
and features an **open-plan studio layout where the bedroom and living area are not separated.**
Instead of large sofas or dining tables,
the room is primarily furnished with tables,
**maximizing space efficiency and reducing costs,**
making it a truly **practical and smart choice!**
The standard occupancy is 4 people,
and it can accommodate up to 6 people!
(Please note, extra charges apply for additional guests.)
**Sonno Calm Gyeongju Deluxe Suites A and B**
**do not have cooking facilities.**
They are a better fit for families who prefer to dine out
and simply relax comfortably at the accommodation.
Both suites have a standard occupancy of 4 people,
and can host **up to 5 guests.**
They both share the common feature of being spacious rooms with a layout of **2 bedrooms, a living room, and 2 bathrooms,**
However, there are **clear differences in size and spatial arrangement.**
First, the **Deluxe Suite A** is an intermediate-sized room,
around 13 pyeong (42.5㎡).
Upon entering from the entrance, the **living room**
and **kitchen area are seamlessly connected,**
which is a distinctive feature that creates a sense of openness.
Additionally, the master bedroom and a smaller room are arranged side-by-side around the living room,
making **movement flow convenient.**
If you're traveling with children,
it's easy to keep an eye on them while they play in the living room,
Families with infants, preschoolers, or elementary school-aged children.
Or for couples or married pairs looking to spend quality time together,
this room is just perfect.
Deluxe Suite B is approximately 19 pyeong (62.7㎡),
making it the largest room among the three room types.
Based on the entrance, the two bedrooms are
situated far apart from each other,
which means privacy is well-assured .
It has the advantage that even if someone goes into their room to rest first,
they are relatively free
from living room noise.
It could be a great choice for a multi-generational family trip with parents,
or for two couples traveling together who need a certain degree of privacy .
It could be a great choice for these **guests**!
For reference, check-in and check-out times for all rooms
are the same: 15:00 / 11:00.

Sonohotels & Resorts Gyeongju Pricing
To make it easy to compare,
I checked the costs for 2 adults, 1 night, across three different booking sites!
For weekdays in late August, prices start from
the late ~$124s, mid ~$131s, and early ~$138s depending on the site.
Around August 25th to 27th, MyRealTrip started from the ~$159s,
Yanolja (여기어때) from the ~$166s,
and NOL from the ~$179s.
Conversely, during the first week of August and the week including Liberation Day,
some dates saw prices climb from the ~$483s to the ~$621s.
Even for the same accommodation, **simply adjusting your dates by a day or two**
**can lead to significant price differences**, and
during peak season, **your desired room might not be available**
**on your preferred dates**.
Once your itinerary is set, it's best to check for available rooms and book quickly!
