We recently visited Daedanhadonkkaseu Hoban Summit with our kids, and it truly lives up to its reputation as a great value restaurant in Songdo's 8th District. What Makes Kyungyangsik Tonkatsu So Special?
Kyungyangsik (Korean-style) Tonkatsu offers a distinct charm compared to its Japanese counterpart. This unique Korean adaptation features the sauce pre-poured directly over the Tonkatsu. This allows the crispy fried cutlet to absorb the sweet and tangy sauce, creating a harmonious flavor in every bite.
A classic tradition at Kyungyangsik Tonkatsu restaurants is the complimentary cream soup appetizer. There's something wonderfully nostalgic about savoring a bowl of this creamy soup while anticipating your main course – it sets the perfect mood for the meal. Even the kids get excited, happily spooning down their soup!
