I just casually said,
"Let's just go for a drive."
But actually, I had secretly planned a 1-night, 2-day surprise trip to an Incheon Songdo hotel!
Hiding our destination,
from the moment I got behind the wheel,
my heart was pounding.

A Grander Vibe Than Expected: An Unexpected First Impression
The first thing that crossed my mind as soon as I stepped into the lobby was,
"Wow, this is much grander than I expected!"
I had imagined a more casual and bright hotel,
but the regal, weighty interior design even surprised my boyfriend haha
As my boyfriend entered the lobby, he had a look on his face that said,
"We didn't just stumble in here from a drive, did we?"
That's when I revealed I had booked it,
and the surprise officially began!
The hotel is situated right in front of Songdo Central Park,
and being able to enjoy the park view from your room
is considered one of its biggest advantages.
Even the standard Deluxe Double room
comes with a queen-sized bed,
making it a comfortable size for two adults.
A hotel like this, even on a weekend,
is priced around ~$69..!!

A Birthday Celebration in Our Roomy Space
Without a doubt, the room was the most satisfying part of our stay.
Despite the somewhat grand exterior and lobby,
once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was –
absolutely no hint of feeling cramped!
We set out the cake and gifts we’d brought and
threw a birthday party right in the room.
The generous space meant we could spread out our belongings
without any inconvenience, moving around freely.
Even now, a quick search shows prices around ~$104
for a weekend in September!

Among the hotel's amenities, there's a fitness center
exclusively for guests.
Breakfast is served at the buffet on the first floor
from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
We didn't get to try the breakfast this time,
but since there weren't many brunch options nearby,
I think we'll definitely opt for breakfast on our next visit!
Songdo Central Park Hotel: My Honest Take
While the grand atmosphere of the lobby
was a bit unexpected at first,
that very ambiance actually allowed us to enjoy
a calm and leisurely night.
The spacious room was ample for two of us to unpack
and prepare for our party,
and best of all, since it was a surprise event,
my boyfriend absolutely loved it,
making it a truly memorable birthday!
With a water park and swimming pool slated to open in 2027,
this hotel is definitely one to watch out for!
