1. Caribbean Bay

📍 Caribbean Bay
199 Everland-ro, Pogok-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do
Everland and Caribbean Bay are nestled in Yongin, just an hour's drive from Seoul.
The nostalgic Caribbean Bay!
The wave pool is always a blast.
It's a place I love. Even without going on rides,
just floating in Caribbean Bay's wave pool makes me incredibly happy...
(It's not because I'm a chicken, I swear!)
It's finally summer season, which means they're open until 8 PM! Woohoo!
You can get a Gold Season 2 ticket for ~$38!

On Trip.com,
they're also selling tickets that include a Gold Season Caribbean Bay pass, a pass + life vest rental, and even a round-trip bus!
Both purchasing sites offer tickets that let you enjoy Caribbean Bay, and then Everland afterward,
a 1-ticket, 2-park pass (yes, 1 ticket, 2 parks~~!)
at a discounted price.

2. The Shilla Seoul Urban Island (Outdoor Pool)

Since The Shilla Seoul's outdoor pool is exclusively for hotel guests,
it's wonderfully uncrowded.

The pool is spacious, allowing for some proper swimming.
And the beach chairs are perfect for lounging and chilling out.
Night swimming is absolutely fantastic – highly, highly recommended!

3. Mondrian Seoul Itaewon Outdoor Pool
While the actual swimming pool is on the smaller side,
it features a beautiful Mediterranean-style outdoor pool that is absolutely perfect for summer.
Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you can purchase a day pass just to use the pool.
Although you can visit the Mondrian Itaewon outdoor pool
without booking a room,
the admission price during peak season does feel a bit steep.
If you are visiting with kids, access is only allowed on weekdays.
Instead of a family-friendly vibe,
it has much more of a trendy, social atmosphere for couples or friends.
There is also a small changing room right next to the pool.

4. Paradise City Hotel Incheon | Cimer
📍 Paradise City Cimer
186 Yeongjonghaeannam-ro 321beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon

Located near Incheon Airport, just an hour's drive from Seoul, the Paradise City Hotel
feels like one massive, luxury theme park.
And Cimer is definitely not
your average hotel outdoor pool—
it's an entire state-of-the-art water park
housed inside a spectacular building!

During the peak summer season at Paradise City Cimer,
both sides of the 3rd-floor infinity pool open up,
and it is absolutely incredible!
You can relax in the pool with a gorgeous view of airplanes taking off and landing.
Older kids also have an absolute blast here.
They usually spend hours riding the indoor water slides
inside Cimer without ever wanting to stop!
You don't need to be a hotel guest to enjoy Cimer—
you can purchase a day pass separately.
Honestly, I think it's the absolute best water park in Korea.
If I had the time and money, I'd move in and live here every single day!
Incheon Paradise City Cimer is hands down the ultimate water getaway in Korea...
Highly, highly recommended!
But keep in mind: only children aged 8 and older who are at least 140cm tall
are allowed to enter.
The best part about this? Since there are no toddlers running around,
you can enjoy a much quieter, peaceful, and relaxing water park experience.
If you're traveling as a family with younger kids, you might prefer the main Paradise Hotel outdoor pool,
which seems to have a higher ratio of families.
Or, the nearby Inspire Resort features a water park
that is super popular with toddlers and young children,
so that might actually be a better option for families with little ones!
(It is a bit small in scale though.)

The outdoor pool is also so spacious and stretches out beautifully,
making it perfect for a full day of fun.

It's become incredibly famous lately, even trending on Instagram, so everyone wants to go!
Sonocahm Gyeongju is fantastic for families with children, large families, or any family group,
and it seems great for couples or friends traveling together too.
