Cat Cat Village + Moana + Alpine Coaster Tour
Just arrive at Sapa Cathedral,
and your guide will easily spot you! 😂

Cat Cat Village
A charming tourist destination in Sapa, Northern Vietnam
A village where the Hmong ethnic minority people once lived, characterized by traditional houses, stunning terraced rice fields, and more.
Admission fee: 150,000 동
📍 Cat Cat Village
Thôn, Cát Cát, Sa Pa, Lào Cai, Vietnam
We headed to Cat Cat Village by car.
We didn't book a full package tour.
Instead, we used Klook to book everything flexibly,
fitting our own itinerary perfectly!
Just before entering Cat Cat Village! 😄
Our guide mentioned
we absolutely *had* to try on the traditional attire,
and I was all for it! 'Count me in!' I said! 😄
How could I possibly come all this way and *not* try them on?!
They even added some fun braids to my hair, giving it that perfect traditional touch! 😂
They braid it into pigtails
Renting the Hmong traditional costume cost 200,000 동, plus 100,000 동 for the hair styling.

150,000 동 per person
Then, it's time to enter Cat Cat Village!

Isn't it just gorgeous? 😍

At only 10,000 동 per person,
you *have* to go inside! 😂
10,000 동 = about ~$0 (as of Oct 2025)
Anyone entering,
make sure to grab a bottle of water!

Took photos with friends and by myself!
It was so beautiful.
The scenery itself was truly therapeutic.
You can see the view of the terraced rice fields in the distance.

Wandering around everywhere,
I took so many photos.

After leaving Howl's Castle,
if you keep going down,
Hmong women in traditional attire
are selling souvenirs.

The weather was great too,
so the photos turned out beautifully.

I rented traditional attire and took photos,
and I mean *a lot* of photos, haha!
Mainly memorable shots.
They also had performances.
I couldn't watch all of it, unfortunately.

There was also a place where they make handicrafts,
so I went to check it out.
It reminded me of scenes of weaving in Korea long ago.

I walked around so much, haha!
By then, I was ready to shed the outfit.
The skirt kept getting stepped on, lol.
It was so hot~~!!
And because of the necklace,
it's no secret that I got a metal allergy breakout!

Moana - Sky Garden Cafe in the Mist, Moana Sapa Café

📍 Moana Sapa: The Ultimate Instagrammable Spot
số 68 Violet, Phường Cầu Mây, Sa Pa, Lào Cai 330000 Vietnam
So... at first, I went without realizing it was a cafe,
but it turned out to be one!
Entrance fee: 100,000 VND
It felt more like a photo zone paradise than a typical cafe.
They have these structures set up just for taking photos,
and it seems to have become famous thanks to young people who love Instagram.
When I saw it in person,
hmm... it was quite small.
I thought it would be huge!

I think I waited for 30 minutes......

Got one shot, haha.
Oh, I thought the floor there was water,
but it wasn't?
If you take a picture on a clear day,
it looks like that because of the reflection...
Since it was cloudy when I went,
next!

Hmm, this one isn't great.
hahahaha
Let's go ride the swing!

Some Chinese tourists were riding it, haha.
They offered to push me,
so I asked them to, and heh heh,
I soared through the air so exhilaratingly!
Woo-hahaha!
I purposely wore a skirt,
but it didn't really fly up.

The fog kept getting thicker and thicker, heh heh heh,
until I couldn't see anything anymore.

It's blurry, but there's a village behind it, hahahaha.

The line for Moana was too long, so I skipped it... haha.

Renting clothes in Cat Cat Village was
a really great decision! Thumbs up 👍🏻 😍 😎

definitely try on a Hmong traditional costume!!
