For drop-off, they arranged a taxi for us. While you could save a bit by hailing your own, the convenience of having them call one was worth it. The Staff's Impressive Friendliness
Initially, I was worried that airport pick-up wasn't included by default, but after requesting it right after booking, I received a very friendly reply. The staff member who met us at the airport smiled throughout the entire 15-minute journey to the guesthouse, explaining various aspects of the Maldives. The excellent staff reviews were spot on – I was very impressed!

The guesthouse is a cozy size with 10 rooms, and check-in takes place on the second floor. (Remember to bring cash, preferably USD, for any on-site payments.)

We stayed in a one-bedroom unit with a double bed, a living room, and a kitchen.
Basic kitchen utensils, water, and tea were all impeccably organized, and the kitchen sink drain was perfectly clean. Impressive!
Having a refrigerator and microwave was fantastic, especially since breakfast wasn't included – it made it easy to prepare simple meals.
Knowing we wouldn't have Korean food for the next five days, we indulged in a cup of instant ramen!

While the exterior showed signs of age, the interior had recently been remodeled and was incredibly neat and comfortable. Two large beds pushed together made it comfortable for a half-night stay with my teenage daughters.
As a family of four with daughters, we are particularly sensitive to cleanliness, and this place was exceptionally well-maintained in every corner.

Seeing not a single strand of hair in the bathroom drain instilled great confidence in the guesthouse's hygiene standards.

Being right in front of the police station made us feel incredibly safe. Located in the heart of the city, the beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and you'll find a plethora of 24-hour supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
We enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the beach, visiting charming cafes and an ice cream shop. It was a wonderful way to soak in the local Maldivian atmosphere and make the most of our half-day.

If you're looking for a comfortable and cost-effective budget-friendly Male Maldives accommodation to spend your first night before heading to an expensive resort, this is the perfect answer. With a kitchen equipped with a stove and microwave, preparing simple meals is also incredibly convenient.
