Honestly, at first, I wondered if it was really worth it for just a hot spring,

but the moment I opened the door to my room, my jaw dropped.

How to Book Onsen Hot Pools

You can often find Onsen Hot Pools bookings

Parking Tips

The parking space is smaller than you might expect.

Rental cars → Parking is possible if there are spots available.

Campervans → It was almost impossible to find a spot.

I was about 10 minutes late because of parking, sigh.

When I asked a staff member,

they told me there are some small, designated 'pocket' lines on the outdoor roadside

where you can park.

If those are full too, the 'Shotover Jet' parking lot is also free.

"I've never seen them enforce parking there.

But if you're worried, you can use the paid parking lot on the opposite side of the road."

Although they said the chances of getting ticketed in the pocket lines are low,

if you're uneasy, feel free to use the paid parking lot across the street.

My Experience & Review

After parking, you'll walk straight down,

and finally, you'll reach the reception.

It's a space filled with an Asian aesthetic and a truly healing atmosphere.

Every detail of the interior design feels thoughtfully crafted.

Beverage Ordering Information

They used to provide complimentary beverages,

but now, only water is free.

You'll need to pay separately on-site for wine, juice, and other drinks.

Exploring the Facilities

You'll find changing rooms and shower facilities in the hallway.

The facilities are really well-equipped,

so you don't need to bring anything extra.

I went into Room 6, and

the moment I opened the door, I thought, 'This is exactly what I spend my money on!' because of that view.

The Queenstown canyon view unfolds right in front of the tub.

It's truly become an Instagram hotspot because of this view.

Tub Control Button Explanations

The water wasn't too hot, so

I practically never needed to add cold water (No. 5).

I mostly used only the No. 1 button (to turn off the announcement).

They only change the water once a day, so

there's a rumor that it might not be sparkling clean during the evening slot...

I recommend going during the morning slot.

Pro Tip

Time is money!

You don't want to waste precious time changing once you're there.

✔ Wear your swimsuit under your clothes in advance

✔ Towels are provided for your body, so there's no need to bring your own.

✔ There's a ledge to sit on inside the tub, but it's hard to see underwater.

→ Be extra careful, as it's easy to trip.

✔ The floor outside the tub can also get slippery when wet.

→ I actually slipped both inside and outside and almost had a serious fall ㅠㅠ

Caution against slipping is genuinely the most important thing.
