We recently took a much-needed vacation to Halong Bay!

Because Halong Bay is globally renowned as a premier relaxation destination,

we wanted to find the perfect resort to unwind.

That's when we discovered

Premier Village Halong!

We were so incredibly satisfied with our stay that I had to write this honest, unsponsored review.

From the resort amenities to the villa interiors,

I'll be breaking down everything from A to Z.

Premier Village Halong

is a fantastic, well-equipped resort

located conveniently near the

Halong Bay marina!

Let's take a closer look at everything they offer,

from the swimming pools to the fitness center!

Outdoor Swimming Pools

​

To help you make the most of your summer vacation,

the resort boasts not one, but two outdoor pools!

Pool hours are from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM,

so you can start your day with an early morning swim!

The first pool is family-friendly with a

shallower depth for kids, and it even has swimming lanes!

The second pool features a unique layout

surrounded by plenty of comfortable sunbeds!

It's the perfect spot to lay back,

soak up the warm sunshine, and completely zone out.

Spa & Massage

​

The Spa operating hours are:

Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Friday – Sunday: 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM

Please note that the spa facilities require an entrance fee

of 170,000 VND per person.

The spa area is divided into three main experiences:

1. Massage

2. Hot Baths

3. Dry/Wet Saunas

1. Massage

You can book professional massages right inside the resort.

The prices are listed below, though they lean a bit on the expensive side for Vietnam.

To be fully transparent, we actually found a local massage parlor just a 5-minute drive away.

It was incredibly affordable and the therapists were amazing,

so we ended up going there twice during our 2-night stay! Haha.

​

2. Hot Baths

​

Inside the spa facility, there are two large soaking tubs

where you can enjoy a relaxing bath!

The warm water is perfectly heated to soothe your muscles after a long day of touring.

3. Dry/Wet Saunas

​

The resort spa also features

both dry and wet saunas!

I highly recommend starting with the wet steam room,

followed by the dry sauna. It leaves you feeling completely refreshed!

The dry sauna is a traditional steam-style setup

where you pour water over heated rocks.

The steam fills the room with a comforting heat,

and we absolutely loved it!

Fitness Center

​

If you like to stay active on vacation, Premier Village

has a fully equipped fitness center on-site!

Operating hours are

06:00 AM - 07:00 PM, so keep that in mind!

You can find it by taking the stairs near the second pool,

or just ask the reception desk for directions.

Inside, you'll find a great variety of equipment,

ranging from free weights and strength machines to cardio equipment.

There's also a water dispenser and fresh towels provided for guests!

​

Lazy Bar

There's also a fantastic outdoor bar situated right by the pool!

It's open from 04:00 PM to 11:00 PM,

with last call for drinks at 10:00 PM.

Because our itinerary was packed with tours,

we sadly didn't get a chance to hang out here...

But grabbing an evening cocktail outdoors here would be absolute perfection!

Inside the Villas

​

We booked the 3-Bedroom Lake View Villa.

Premier Village is composed of multiple standalone townhouses,

and when you book, your group essentially gets an entire private home.

Our specific villa actually had four bedrooms,

but we only needed to use three of them!

Living Room

​

Because it's structured like a private residence,

you get a spacious living room with a cozy sofa,

along with home appliances like a

washing machine, full-sized fridge, and microwave!

​

Double Rooms

Two of the bedrooms featured comfortable double beds.

I was especially impressed by

how modern and spotless the interior design was!

There were mood lights by the bedside,

and the blackout curtains guaranteed an amazing night's sleep.

Good to know: The double bedrooms

come equipped with en-suite bathtubs!

Twin Room

The twin room had two single beds,

and the overall layout was identical to the double rooms.

However, please note that the twin room

does not have a bathtub.

As for the amenities,

they provide absolutely everything: body lotion, conditioner, soap, shampoo,

plenty of towels, toothbrushes, and cotton swabs.

You also get one complimentary bottle of water per person daily,

and yes, there is a hair dryer in the villa!

Booking Premier Village Halong Resort

​

I personally booked our stay

through Agoda.

​

Since we had a group of 6,

we shared the 3-bedroom private villa for 2 nights.

The total cost came out to just ~$380!

That means we each paid less than ~$33 per night

to stay at this incredible luxury resort.

(Granted, we visited during the off-season...)

But even during the 2026 peak season, you can expect to pay

around ~$66 per night per person,

which is still an unbeatable value for this level of accommodation and pools.

I cannot recommend this place enough.
