Prague in the Czech Republic is a place many people dream of visiting at least once in their lives.
With such romantic scenery, it's natural to want to bring back souvenirs to remember your trip by, but when it comes down to it, deciding what to buy can be a real head-scratcher.
I've compiled a **shopping list** featuring recommended **Prague souvenirs** that I heard about from my guide during a tour in **Prague**, along with items I personally found perfect for gifts while exploring the city.
Czech Prague Souvenir Shopping List: Snacks, Gifts, Cosmetics, Alcohol, Drink Recommendations

4️⃣ Miscellaneous
1. Snacks & Treats

🛍️ Item: Koronáda Wafers
💰 Price: ~$8 (Varies by store)
📌 Where to buy: Supermarkets, convenience stores
This is a **traditional Czech wafer** that our Prague Castle tour guide recommended!
It's said to be a specialty of the spa town of **Karlovy Vary**, and it's a wafer with **thin layers filled with chocolate cream**.
Usually, wafers like this are square, but what's unique about this one is its round, pizza-like shape, sliced into triangular pieces.
The wafer itself is incredibly nutty and light, and with the chocolate flavor, it's a taste that everyone is sure to love!!
You can find it cheaper at larger supermarkets, but since we visited during the year-end holidays, all the big stores were closed, so we ended up buying it a bit pricier at a smaller supermarket... ugh!

🛍️ Item: Studentská Chocolate
💰 Price: ~$7
📌 Where to buy: Supermarkets, convenience stores
This is a chocolate from a famous Czech confectionery brand.
The chocolate is generously packed with dried fruits and nuts like cherries, macadamia nuts, and peanuts.
It's said to be a popular chocolate even among locals.

🛍️ Item: Duetky Pretzels
💰 Price: ~$3
📌 Where to buy: Supermarkets, convenience stores
These are **salty, pretzel-style snacks**.
They come in various flavors like honey, tomato, onion, and salt, so you can easily pick one that suits your taste.
They're said to be thin and crispy pretzels, baked and then pressed flat.
This was also on our guide's recommended snack list, and they mentioned it's a flavor profile that many find incredibly satisfying.
2. Alcoholic Beverages

🛍️ Item: Bohemia Honey
💰 Price: ~$13
📌 Where to buy: Liquor stores
This is a **traditional honey liqueur** from **Rudolf Jelínek**, a famous Czech spirits company.
Prague and the Czech Republic are known for their honey-infused spirits, making this a fantastic Czech souvenir for any friend who loves a good drink.
With an alcohol content of 35%, it's quite potent!

🛍️ Item: Medovina
💰 Price: ~$5
📌 Where to buy: Liquor stores
Item Description
**Medovina** is one of the quintessential Czech souvenirs, a **traditional alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey**.
As a fermented drink made from honey itself, its alcohol content ranges from 10-15%, similar to popular spirits in many countries.
There are many brands that sell Medovina, and the flavors are diverse, including classic and even chili!

🛍️ Item: Medovina
💰 Price: ~$10
📌 Where to buy: Liquor stores, souvenir shops
If you wander from shop to shop in Prague looking for Medovina, you'll discover a truly vast array of products.
The Medovina in the picture contains additions like cinnamon, so if you're looking for something a bit unique among Medovina varieties, this one might be worth trying.

🛍️ Item: Medovina
💰 Price: ~$15 (Prices vary by volume)
📌 Where to buy: Christmas Markets
After searching high and low for Medovina, we finally settled on a shop at the Christmas Market.
Since I intended to buy Medovina as a gift, I wanted to know its taste before gifting it. Luckily, at the Christmas Market, they sold this liquor by the glass, so we tasted it before making a purchase.
It was a liquor with a subtle, natural sweetness from honey. As someone who's not much of a drinker, I wouldn't say it was 'delicious' to me, but it was unique and quite charming, making me think it would be a great gift.

🛍️Item: Manufaktura Beer Shampoo
💰Price: 249 Koruna
📌Where to buy: Manufaktura Store
Since Prague is famous for its beer, there's also a huge variety of beer-related souvenirs.
Among them, a fantastic souvenir to buy, use yourself, or give as a gift is beer shampoo!!
It's a consumable item, so it's generally well-received, and it's excellent for hair health with anti-hair loss properties, making it highly functional.
Plus, the packaging is so pretty and luxurious!

🛍️Item: Manufaktura Beer Shampoo
💰Price: 239 Koruna
📌Where to buy: Manufaktura Store
Manufaktura itself is an incredibly famous cosmetics brand in the Czech Republic, so if you're usually interested in beauty products, it'll be a joy to visit their store and browse their various offerings.
Beer shampoo is one of Manufaktura's signature products, and it comes in many varieties. It's a great idea to test out the scents or ask a staff member for recommendations before buying one.
4. Other

🛍️Item: Alphonse Mucha Souvenirs
📌Where to buy: Souvenir shops, Golden Lane
Alphonse Mucha, the Czech Republic's representative painter and a beloved figure among Czechs, spent the latter part of his life in Prague, so you'll find places related to him all over the city.
With an Alphonse Mucha Museum also in Prague, you'll find souvenir shops brimming with various items designed in Mucha's artistic style.
There were so many beautiful things that my wallet was in danger! I ended up buying pretty bookmarks for my friends and a hand mirror for myself, and I still feel happy every time I look in the mirror.

🛍️Item: Pilsner Urquell Beer Glass
💰Price: 449 Koruna (varies by size)
📌Where to buy: Souvenir shops
The Czech Republic is so famous for beer that globally renowned brands like Pilsner Urquell and Kozel are both Czech brands.
Consequently, there's a truly vast array of Pilsner Urquell and Kozel related souvenirs.
Even though I'm not much of a drinker, these beer glasses were so beautiful that I kept wanting to buy them.
My husband ultimately vetoed it, but... if you love beer, buying a beautiful glass in Prague and using it back home is a wonderful way to remember your trip.

🛍️Item: Magnets
📌Where to buy: Souvenir shops
Wherever you go in Europe, magnets are a popular souvenir, but honestly, Havel's Market, which was our first stop in Prague, didn't have many pretty ones.
There are plenty of charming magnets in the small souvenir shops near the Old Town, so I recommend exploring a bit before buying rather than impulsively purchasing them at Havel's Market.

Beyond these, there are many practical and pretty souvenirs like postcards and cup coasters.

Korunada wafers can be purchased at supermarkets or grocery stores. The price is 180 Czech Koruna, but it may vary by store.
Bohemia Honey is a traditional honey liqueur from Rudolf Jelínek, a famous Czech spirits company. This liqueur has an alcohol content of 35%, which is quite high.
Manufaktura Beer Shampoo can be purchased for 249 Czech Koruna or 239 Czech Koruna. It is excellent for hair health and has hair loss prevention effects, making it highly functional.
Alphonse Mucha souvenirs can be found in souvenir shops or at Golden Lane. There are various items made in the Mucha art style, such as beautiful bookmarks and hand mirrors.
