I've compiled 5 places I've visited multiple times or still can't stop thinking about.
(Mostly places I'd happily go back to again!)
Of course, Prague's Old Town has so many amazing restaurants,
which can actually make it tricky to choose where to go.
Based on my experience living in Prague for half a year,
I've put together recommendations, from Czech cuisine to desserts, that I still crave.

U Pinkasů was my go-to whenever I craved Czech food.
It's also famous as the first restaurant to sell Pilsner Urquell.
And with its 7-minute walk from the Old Town, the location is excellent!
The restaurant interior is quite spacious,
and its rich history gives it a vintage interior.
This is a great place to try traditional Czech dishes like Koleno, Goulash, and Svíčková,
if you're feeling adventurous.
Personally, I highly recommend the Svíčková.
Svíčková is a traditional Czech dish made with beef sirloin,
served with a rich sauce and thick bread dumplings.
It usually comes with cranberry sauce and whipped cream.
At first, you might wonder about the combination, but it's savory and incredibly flavorful.
The Svíčková at U Pinkasů was especially delicious,
so if you want to try it, U Pinkasů is the place!

I want to introduce you to Marina, a floating restaurant where you can dine on the Vltava River with stunning Prague Castle views.

The interior is luxurious, and the open kitchen adds to its pristine feel,
making it a perfect spot, especially for couples or honeymooners.
I visited for work at the time, so I couldn't take photos of the food,
and while the food isn't extraordinarily delicious,
if you're looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, you'll be more than satisfied.

I used to be someone who only ate franchise burgers, convinced that
'a burger is a burger, they're all the same'.
Prague's Naše maso completely changed my mind.
Not only are there not many seats here,
but it's also so crowded that you should plan on getting takeout.
Since it's a specialty butcher shop, it's pricier than other burgers,
but the meat is thick, juicy, and delicious.
However, it might not be for everyone, especially if you prefer a lot of vegetables.
You can also enjoy draft beer from their beer taps here,
so I highly recommend it for those who want an unforgettable craft burger + beer combination!

I used to shy away from cream pasta, finding it too heavy. But after trying the Carbonara here,
I've completely changed my tune and now
find myself ordering Carbonara specifically...
I didn't make a reservation, so I sat at a small two-person table near the entrance,
but there's also a spacious area inside,
so I recommend making a reservation if possible :)
I had the Carbonara and Cream Risotto,
and I loved them because they weren't too rich and had a savory, nutty flavor.
I remember the pasta being perfectly al dente, probably because it was freshly made.
Since it's located in the heart of Prague's Old Town, accessibility is excellent,
so if you're getting tired of only eating Czech food, I highly recommend visiting!

A brunch cafe true to its name, dedicated to coffee and waffles.
Even though many waffle places have popped up in Korea,
personally, no place can beat the waffles here.
The accompanying fruit is fresh,
and the portion is surprisingly generous, so you'll be wonderfully full.
It's great as a dessert, but it's even substantial enough to be a full brunch
The shop itself is a comfortable size and feels incredibly cozy,
and it's conveniently located just a short walk from Prague's Old Town towards the Vltava River
so the location is excellent.
It's the perfect spot to pop in when you're feeling peckish after exploring the nearby sights!
Having spent several months in Prague,
I've recommended 5 Old Town Prague restaurants that I personally enjoyed immensely, was truly satisfied with, and would love to revisit someday.
While satisfaction levels might vary depending on individual tastes,
given the excellent Google Maps reviews, you likely won't have any major regrets.
