Prague Airport Uber Airport Review 2026: Direct City Transfer for ~$27

When I used it, Uber Airport allowed me to board directly from the arrival floor. If I had chosen a regular UberX, the app would have directed me to a separate pickup point, specifically the departure floor on the 3rd level. At that moment, the thought of dragging my luggage from the 1st floor up to the 3rd floor was unappealing, so I opted for the convenience of getting picked up right from the arrival level.

Prague Airport's official guidance also states that Uber Airport's dedicated Pick-up Point is located directly in front of the Terminal 1 and 2 arrival halls. In contrast, the pickup location for regular Uber services (like UberX) can vary depending on the terminal and time of request, so it's always best to confirm the exact pickup spot shown in the app after requesting your ride.

(And trust me, you cannot manually set the pickup point to the arrival floor for UberX.🥹 I tried it so you don't have to! 😂)

So, for me, the key advantage of Uber Airport was: 'It's a bit more expensive, but I didn't have to carry my luggage to a different floor after arriving; I could just hop in directly.'

3. My Uber Airport Ride Cost CZK 623.40

Once in the car, we headed straight to my hotel. Not having to find bus stops or make transfers was definitely a huge relief on the first day of my trip.

Uber prices can fluctuate based on the date, time, traffic conditions, and demand, so consider CZK 623.40 as the actual cost for my specific trip.

4. When Uber Airport is the Best Fit for Your Prague Arrival

Based on my experience, Uber Airport might be perfect for you if:

• You're traveling with minimal luggage or don't want the hassle of carrying heavy bags up and down stairs.
• You value convenience and want a direct transfer from the arrival hall to your accommodation.
• You're comfortable using the Uber app.
• You're looking for a quick dispatch time.

Conversely, if cost is your absolute top priority, you might want to compare UberX or other options. However, I highly recommend checking the pickup location indicated in the app, not just the price, before making your final choice.

On the day I traveled, UberX was cheaper, but it required moving to a separate pickup location. This is why I ultimately chose Uber Airport.

5. Uber vs. Pre-Booked Airport Transfers: A Comparison

If you're traveling with friends and are comfortable using the Uber app, Uber Airport is incredibly convenient.

However, if you're traveling with family, have a lot of luggage, or simply want the peace of mind of having your airport transfer confirmed and arranged before you even land, a pre-booked airport pickup is definitely worth comparing.
