Recommended Accommodation in Positano, Italy
One of the accommodations I was most excited about for this trip was
the hotel 'Villa Rosa' where I stayed in Positano, Italy.
The view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning...
I stayed for 3 nights, and it was incredibly comfortable and delightful the entire time.

🚢 Via Cristoforo Colombo 127, 84017 Positano, Salerno
📝3-night stay: ~$1,237 + on-site payment fee: ~$18
-> Approximately ~$414 per night
☕Breakfast included with all rooms
🕍Standard Double Room, Sea View
Accommodation Location & Lobby

It's located about a 10-minute walk from Positano Beach.
If you follow Google Maps,
you'll see that 'Villa Rosa' sign.

These are the exterior stairs, which seem to be used by staff.

We entered through the main entrance.

The clean, white-toned lobby immediately caught our eye.
The staff welcomed us with incredible kindness.

This is how it looks when you face the entrance from inside the lobby.

This is the waiting area next to the lobby.

Of course, we entrusted our luggage to the porter service.
(10 Euros per suitcase)
Once the porter service delivers luggage to the accommodation, the staff kindly bring it to your room.

The building has stairs,
and no elevator,
so I was a bit worried about moving luggage up the stairs even with the porter service.
However, they helped move everything both at check-in and check-out!👍🏻

The location is a 10-minute walk from where the Positano ferry docks.
(Of course, it's an uphill walk + stairs)

From Villa Rosa to the SITA bus stop for Furore Fjord (Fiordo di Furore),
it takes about 4 minutes on foot.
The location was absolutely fantastic!
What's more, it's right behind a famous restaurant known for its incredible Positano views,
so the view was exactly the same...!
This meant we didn't have to seek out another restaurant with a great view; just being at the hotel was enough to enjoy it, which was a huge advantage.
Inside Our Room
Standard Double Room with Sea View

A truly charming and beautiful room.

There's also a sofa.

A bed with pink floral patterns.

There were even paintings on the ceiling!
The ceiling was incredibly high!👍🏻

Inside the room, you'll find hangers, a wardrobe, drawers, a table, and a sofa bed.

This is how it looks with the curtains closed.
Let's head out to the terrace!

The door to the terrace is a double door.
If the door closes behind you while you're out on the terrace and no one else is in the room,,,
you might get locked out,,, so be careful!

Oh, isn't this view absolutely incredible?

The Bathroom

Body wash, body lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, hair cap, hairdryer, and a shower robe.
They really had all the essentials covered!

Next to the shower towels in the bathroom, I found these comfy Villa Rosa slippers tucked away in a pouch.
They were incredibly soft and wonderful!

There was also this low, basin-like fixture, and out of curiosity, I asked ChatGPT what it was for.
It turns out it's often used as a bidet or, as many travelers do, for washing your feet.
We ended up using it to wash our feet, and honestly, it made things pretty convenient! 😊

The fridge was stocked with water, sparkling water, and cups.

Wardrobe and Safe

A spotless accommodation, brimming with Villa Rosa's unique charm and aesthetic.

And the key? It's absolutely gorgeous,,,🌷🥀
You simply leave your key at the front desk whenever you head out.
Breakfast
At Villa Rosa, breakfast is thoughtfully included in your stay.
Once you place your breakfast order, it's delivered right to your room at your chosen time.

The absolute best part of this hotel is getting to enjoy breakfast with that breathtaking Positano view right in front of you.

For breakfast, you simply get a request form, check off all the dishes you'd like,
and submit it by either 8 PM or 10 PM, and they'll bring it right to your room in the morning, right on schedule.
If you want two of something, just jot down the number next to it!

It's such a lavish spread, right?
There was a great variety, and everything was quite tasty.
What I loved most was being able to enjoy a delicious coffee right in my room before heading out for the day
— it was truly the best!

I'm a total latte lover.
I ordered a cappuccino, and it came in such a cute, small cup.
I asked for another one,
and they brought it without any extra charge!

The extra cappuccino and yogurt I requested.
(That yogurt is delicious, seriously, order two! 😉)

I just couldn't miss this view, so I tried a time-lapse – isn't it absolutely stunning?
It was late April, but the mornings and evenings were still a bit chilly, so I bundled up like this to enjoy my meal outside.

So, from the next day, I switched my order to a latte.
The latte was generous in size, which I really appreciated.
While the cappuccino was a bit richer, the latte was delicious too! >_<

Day two breakfast view.
Looking at it like this, it really does seem incredibly peaceful, doesn't it?

LOL, as we got closer to the end, there were so many scenes of us chasing pigeons...

The pigeons and seagulls were constantly eyeing our breakfast.
So, if one of us left our seat, the other had to guard the breakfast!

On our last day, we only ordered our favorites! Haha.
If you ask for an ice cup, they'll happily provide one like this 🧊

Just looking at the sunset from inside our room was incredibly beautiful...

And the night view was even more stunning...
I have so many wonderful memories of my husband and I having such a happy time at this accommodation.
Just lying down and gazing at the view was enough to make us feel utterly content.
For anyone looking for accommodation in Positano, Southern Italy, I wholeheartedly, absolutely recommend this place!

they'll book it for your desired time,

Isn't that just amazing?! 🤍💛💜
You can send your luggage ahead, check out effortlessly,
then head to the ferry port, pick up your bags, and be on your way! >_<
You really don't have to worry at all about carrying heavy luggage up and down Positano's famous stairs!

Oh, and we made sure to email the accommodation beforehand to let them know it was our honeymoon.
I wonder if that's why we were assigned the highest floor... just a thought!

With mirrors placed in every nook and cranny of the hallway,
I snapped a picture every time we headed out! Haha.

Thank you, Villa Rosa, goodbye!
