Looking for a fun family escape near Seoul? Our 2026 review of Park Marine Hotel Soraepogu covers its fantastic pool, delicious breakfast, and family-friendly amenities!

Hi everyone, it's Eundambi!☺️
I'm finally getting around to sharing my review of the Soraepogu 'Hocance' (hotel vacation)
I took last year.
We wanted a place where the family could enjoy water activities, have a blast at a kids' cafe,
and just relax comfortably, so we chose
the Parkmarine Hotel.
It's right near Soraepogu Port, and since it has a rooftop pool and even a kids' cafe,
it was a truly satisfying place to enjoy a 'Hocance' near Seoul
for around ~$69.
I'll now share all the details about our experience at the Parkmarine Hotel, including the Premium Twin Room,
the pool, the kids' cafe, and even breakfast.

The Parkmarine Hotel is conveniently located near Soraepogu Station,
making it easily accessible by subway.
Around the accommodation, there's the Soraepogu Fish Market
and a park perfect for a stroll.
It was great for a quick look around the area
before check-in or after check-out.

The hotel's own parking lot is a mechanical parking system.
If there's no space, you can park at the nearby Hyeondae Parking Lot,
and the hotel lobby will provide 24-hour parking support.
When we visited, there was a spot available on the first floor,
so we parked with ease.
They even offered valet service as we entered the parking lot.

The lobby had a high ceiling and was very clean,
making it a pleasant place to wait without feeling cramped.
Introducing the Parkmarine Hotel Premium Twin Room

When moving from the lobby to our room,
we had to tap our room key on the elevator panel to select our floor.
It felt more secure, which was reassuring.

The room type we booked was a Premium Twin.
The beds were movable,
so we could push the two beds together, allowing our family of four
to sleep spaciously and comfortably.

Overall, the dark ambiance
Just one little thing to note
The lighting doesn't get completely bright.

But the bathroom is absolutely massive, which is a huge plus!

Having the shower and toilet in separate rooms
made it so much more convenient to use.

And with a separate bathtub,
it was perfect for drawing a warm bath to unwind
after splashing around in the rooftop pool.

The room itself was so spacious and comfortable
that a family of four could unpack and settle in
without feeling crowded at all.

The package I booked was a fantastic staycation deal
that included access to the pool, kids' café, and breakfast, so
we received coupons for all the amenities.
Now, let's dive into exploring the amazing facilities!
Park Marine Hotel Rooftop Pool Moongroove

As soon as we checked in and dropped our bags,
we headed straight up to Moongroove, the rooftop pool.
A rooftop pool in the heart of the city? The romance level was off the charts!

There's a bar right next to the pool, which was fantastic because
we could order drinks, alcoholic beverages, and even some light bites.
If you get hungry after a swim, you don't even need to leave!
You can grab a quick bite right there, saving you
unnecessary steps and making it super convenient.

You can grab a table and seats just a half-step below the main pool area.

It actually rained on the day we visited,
but thankfully, the rooftop pool was still open for business!

When it got a little chilly, we could just hop into the warm jacuzzi right next to the pool to warm ourselves up.
And let me tell you, soaking in that outdoor jacuzzi on a rainy day,
listening to the raindrops while feeling perfectly warm,
created an atmosphere even more unique and special than on a clear day.
It's a memory that will stick with us for a long time!

As the sun sets and the lights come on,
the atmosphere becomes even more enchanting.
Watching the sunset during the evening and then seeing the lights illuminate
truly transforms the ambiance.
Park Marine Hotel Kids Cafe
Beyond the swimming pool, there's also a fantastic Kids Cafe right within the hotel!
This means you can easily switch between the pool and the Kids Cafe
depending on the weather or your family's energy levels,
making your 'hocance' (hotel vacation) planning so much smoother.
However... we had a packed schedule that day
and arrived at the hotel a bit late, so we unfortunately couldn't make it to the Kids Cafe.
I truly regretted missing out! ㅠ
Next time I visit Park Marine Hotel, I'm definitely planning to arrive earlier.
Park Marine Hotel Dinner: Soraepogu Fried Delicacies

For dinner, we grabbed some delicious fried treats from a Soraepogu eatery near the hotel
and enjoyed them comfortably in our room.
Having Soraepogu right nearby was a huge plus,
allowing us to savor local delicacies
alongside our hotel stay (hocance).
Since we're not big seafood fans,
we opted for the fried options.
But with the Soraepogu Fish Market so close,
I'm sure many people enjoy taking fresh sashimi back to their rooms.
Being able to enjoy Soraepogu's unique local food
without venturing far from the accommodation
made our movement easy and saved us valuable time.

After admiring the subtle night view in the evening,
it was time for goodnight!
Park Marine Hotel Breakfast Review

Soraepogu Station is right in front of the hotel,
so you can see the subway trains passing by.
We didn't really notice any subway noise, though! Haha.

With our meal coupons in hand, we headed to the breakfast restaurant.

The breakfast selection wasn't overly extensive, but
it was certainly enough to fuel up for a great start to the day.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast on the last day of our hotel vacation (hocance) and checking out,
I felt like it had been a truly fulfilling trip.
Final Thoughts
From its Premium Twin Room layout to the Moon Groove rooftop pool, jacuzzi, Kids Cafe, and breakfast options,
Park Marine Hotel was truly well-equipped with fantastic amenities perfect for families to enjoy.
It was also wonderful that the swimming pool operated even on rainy days,
allowing us to stick to our plans without worrying about the weather. And having Soraepogu right next door,
making it easy to sort out both accommodation and meals in one go, was incredibly satisfying.
As for drawbacks, I'd say the hotel lighting was a bit dim,
and the swimming pool operating hours were set and felt a little short.
Other than those minor points, everything else was incredibly satisfying for the price!
If you're looking for a 'hocance' (hotel vacation) near Seoul for around ~$69,
Park Marine Hotel was absolutely perfect for enjoying with kids!
If you're planning a trip to Soraepogu combined with a hotel stay,
I truly hope this review helps you out.
