Since I was traveling without a car – a true 'walker's trip' – I naturally looked for a place conveniently located near Gangneung Station.

The room I stayed in was Room 206!​

You need to enter two passwords to get in – one for the common entrance and one for the room –

which made me feel really safe, especially for a girls' trip to Gangneung.

True to its 'charming Gangneung stay' title, as soon as I entered,

the modern interior and thoughtful little details caught my eye.

First, a shot of the comfy bed 🛌

Across from the bed was a movable TV,

and it was logged into Netflix with the accommodation's account!

So I spent the whole day relaxing and catching up on all the shows I'd missed.

My room, number 206,

has a studio layout but with a clever split-level design

that subtly separates the spaces.

It's a bit hard to explain with just photos,

but this gives you a rough idea of the vibe!

Even though it's a studio, the clever space separation means that

you'll find everything you need: a vanity and mirror, a TV, and even a refrigerator –

truly all the essentials!

There's a handy mini-table,

perfect for enjoying all the delicious takeout I brought back from Jungang Market.

And since Onneul in Gangneung is just a 10-minute walk from Jungang Market,

being able to pop out for late-night snacks anytime I wanted

was definitely the biggest perk!

The toilet and shower were conveniently combined into one space,

and it was sparkling clean, not a single water stain in sight –

it really made me realize why this place is considered a brand-new gem!

Toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash –

with all these amenities ready and waiting for you,

you can comfortably visit with just your personal bag. Talk about stress-free travel!

Beyond your comfortable room, the inviting guest lounge is also open for you to enjoy!

With a microwave, coffee maker, and table available,

it's super useful for quickly heating up food or when you need hot water –

truly convenient!

There's also an ice dispenser, so if you need ice,

just grab it from here! 🧊 Stay cool!

And a definite must-do: make sure to try this coffee machine in the morning!

Made with Terarosa beans, you can savor a delicious, nutty Americano that's beautifully balanced without any acidity.

Seriously, the Terarosa beans here are absolutely amazing!☕️

And finally, let's talk about the outdoor terrace!

It was absolutely perfect for taking a little break outdoors and soaking in the atmosphere.

With not only private spaces

but also a cozy lounge for guests,

it was truly an ideal Gangneung accommodation where you could unwind in every way imaginable.
