Planning a family getaway near Incheon Airport? Our 2026 review of Nest Hotel Incheon highlights its amazing heated pool, kid-friendly dining, and unique rooms!
Recently, my mom, sister, and nephew and I
had a fantastic hotel staycation at Nest Hotel on Yeongjongdo Island, Incheon.
I totally get why it's so famous for family hotel getaways.
From the hotel pool we personally paid for
to the famous breakfast, I'm excited to share my review!
📌 Why it's perfect for a family hotel getaway
The Strand Rooftop, a four-season heated pool
Warm heated pool with a separate kids' pool for little ones
Kid-friendly breakfast
Breakfast with a panoramic window view, equipped with high chairs and kids' utensils
Korean menu items perfect for children, like seaweed soup (miyeok-guk), bulgogi, and gim (seaweed snacks)
Diverse play areas
Indoor kids' zone and outdoor walking paths perfect for strollers
Perfect kids' care rentals
From bed rails and bottle sterilizers to humidifiers and infant life vests, all available upon request
Deluxe Twin Room Review

I booked a Deluxe Twin Room and stayed there,
and it was perfect for 3 adults and 1 child.
The best part was that
while twin rooms usually have two beds placed side-by-side,
Nest Hotel's layout isn't like a typical hotel.
I loved that it had an Airbnb-like feel.
It felt more spacious, and the area felt refreshed, if that makes sense?!

Even though it's one space, it felt like two separate rooms,
making me think the spatial design was really well done.

I didn't book an ocean view,
but the lush field view was lovely for a hotel getaway.
My nephew seemed to enjoy it too, looking out the window and then playing on the bed.

The room was definitely more spacious than most twin rooms,
so we could easily keep the stroller inside and spread out our luggage.
My nephew even had space to run around!

I also loved the bathroom with its stylish white tiles.
The sink, toilet, and bathtub were all separated,
making it convenient for multiple people to use at once.

The triangular, pristine white bathtub by the window was especially beautiful.
It's a perfect size for adults to enjoy a half-bath,
and absolutely ideal for kids to splash and play!
The photos turned out so lovely that I took many pictures of my nephew there.
The Strand Rooftop Pool Review

And the crown jewel of any hotel staycation? The infinity heated pool, of course!
Nest Hotel's pool is special because every area is heated,
making it an unbeatable spot to visit with kids.
Plus, there's a Finnish sauna area,
so my mom could warm up after swimming.
(I visited in early April, when the weather was a bit chilly.)

The heated pool area was also much larger than expected,
a great size for swimming laps back and forth.
📌Swimsuits required, swim caps or hats optional

Beyond the spacious main pool, there's a separate heated pool for infants and toddlers,
Little ones can splash and play safely!

The hotel even provides infant life vests for rent,
so my niece had a blast floating around and swimming!

I visited on a cloudy day, which was a little bit of a shame,
but I can only imagine how stunning the infinity pool would look
with a clear blue sky!
Whether you're traveling with kids or looking for a romantic 'hotel-cation' with your partner,
I highly recommend The Strand!
Review of Platz Breakfast

It's no exaggeration to say that the atmosphere of the Nest Hotel's breakfast space alone
is worth the visit!!
With floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the West Sea,
and high, open ceilings,
it felt absolutely wonderful to start the day there!
Especially thanks to the tiered seating arrangement,
every seat offers a fantastic view.
Plus, the sophisticated interior means you're sure to snap some amazing photos!!

They have plenty of high chairs and children's tableware,
and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating to families with kids,
making our meal super comfortable.

While the menu isn't overwhelmingly vast,
they have a great selection of dishes specially prepared for children.
Plus, with a curated selection from Western to Korean cuisine and desserts,
it was the perfect combination of great atmosphere and delicious food!
If you're planning a trip,
I highly recommend reserving your room in advance!

The Deluxe Twin Room was spacious enough to accommodate 3 adults and 1 child, and its Airbnb-like structure felt much larger than a typical hotel room. In particular, the washbasin, toilet, and bathtub are separated, and the triangular bathtub by the window is perfect for children's water play.
'The Strand' is a heated pool throughout all areas, and in addition to the large main pool, there's a separate heated pool for toddlers, allowing young children to use it safely. Swimsuits are mandatory, but swim caps or hats are not.
'Platz' is well-equipped with enough high chairs and tableware for infants, and the staff are friendly and accommodating to families with children. The menu also includes well-prepared Korean dishes that children can eat, such as seaweed soup, bulgogi, and gim (laver).
According to the article, among Agoda, Trip.com, and Booking.com, Agoda offered the cheapest booking at ~$134. The author also mentioned booking at the lowest price through Agoda.
