The lounge I visited was the Matina Lounge West Concourse in Incheon Airport Terminal 1. After clearing immigration and entering the duty-free zone, simply head towards **Gate 43**.

Opposite Gate 43, you'll see an escalator leading upstairs. Once you go up, you'll spot the duty-free pick-up area, and the Matina Lounge entrance is on the opposite side, making it surprisingly easy to find.

With 'MATINA' clearly marked at the entrance, as long as you find the correct gate number, you shouldn't have any trouble getting lost.

I've used the Matina Lounge around lunchtime several times before, and there wasn't much of a queue then. However, this time I went in the morning, and it was **surprisingly crowded**.

Despite the crowd, the turnover seemed quick, and I was able to **enter after waiting for only about 10 minutes**.

2. The Vibe Inside: My Personal Experience

I've visited Matina Lounge several times, and the West side of Terminal 1 is a great size for grabbing a meal and taking a quick break.

Last time, I was guided to a window seat, but this time I used one of the regular table seats further inside. As you can see in the photos, there are several tables set up for 2-4 people, and overall, the seating, including both the central and window-side spots, is quite compactly arranged.

Still, the turnover is quick, so the interior didn't feel as cramped as I expected.

3. A Plethora of Diverse Buffet Delights

As I looked through the pictures, I realized there was quite a lot to eat, more than I expected! They had warm dishes like fried rice, sausages, and stir-fried meat, plus Tteokbokki and fried items, perfect for a satisfying meal.

There were also separate ingredients for Bibimbap and a salad bar, making it easy to pick and choose. With bread, fruit, and small desserts available, it was perfect for a light bite after the main meal.

With cup noodles, soft drinks, and coffee available, the menu was quite sufficient for a satisfying meal before departure.

Please note: Cup noodles and drinks cannot be taken outside the lounge.

What I Ate

I usually like to try a bit of everything, and this time, I made sure to get a balanced plate with Japchae, salad, Tteokbokki, and various fried items. It was surprisingly filling, even with just one plate!

Looking at this picture makes me crave Tteokbokki again..

Especially since I live abroad, whenever I visit the lounge before departing, I always make sure to eat Tteokbokki.

When I'm in Korea, I end up eating so many different things that, surprisingly, there are times I leave without having Tteokbokki. So, this time too, I made sure to enjoy my Tteokbokki and fried items before my flight.
