Why Kkachiseom is a Hwangridan-gil Favorite

The main reason I highly recommend Kkachiseom is its second-floor location.
It offers an unobstructed, breathtaking view of the Daereungwon ancient tombs,
a landscape you can only experience here in Gyeongju.
Sitting in the spacious, comfortable seats while looking out at the green mounds
is an absolute must-do during your Gyeongju trip!

Additionally, they serve unique signature menu items
that you won't find in standard cafes.
From herbal teas to traditional Ssanghwa-cha,
they also offer delicate, crispy Monaka desserts.
Honest Taste Test & Review

We ordered the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside Monaka
along with a rich, velvety Cloud Einspänner.
The traditional Hanok backdrop makes every photo look absolutely stunning,
no matter where you sit.

✔️ Matcha Cloud Einspänner (~$4)
The combination of thick, sweet cream and bittersweet matcha
was absolutely brilliant. It is easily Kkachiseom's standout
signature drink.

✔️ Cherry Yuzu Slush (~$4)
If you prefer sweet and tangy fruit drinks,
this Cherry Yuzu Slush is incredibly refreshing.
It is the perfect palate cleanser after a long walk.

✔️ Monaka (~$2)
(Green Hill, Rosy Cherry, White Seashell)
Kkachiseom's signature Monaka dessert
comes in three distinct, delightful flavors.

With matcha, cherry, and buttercream fillings,
trying the different flavor profiles is half the fun!
