I recently stumbled upon a new cafe in Jeonju (전주) through my social media feed, and the name alone immediately caught my attention:
Time and Season (시간과 계절)
What a poetic name!

It perfectly suits this late autumn to early winter season of 2026. The cafe's name and ambiance made me so curious about their drinks and desserts that I just had to visit (no choice, really!) to satisfy my sweet tooth.

You'll find it directly across from the Historic Downtown Public Parking Lot. It's also conveniently close to Ondam (온담) restaurant, making it an ideal spot for a second round of coffee and dessert after enjoying a meal.
✅️ Opening Hours: Daily 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
I'm definitely an early bird, and I wished the cafe opened a little earlier. So, I decided to do an "open run" and arrived right at opening time!
The owner personally opened the locked door for me, and I was genuinely the very first customer... what a lucky start! ❤️🍀

Time and Season Jeonju Cafe: Ambiance and Space
Time and Season (시간과 계절) has taken over the spot previously occupied by Duroaster Cafe (듀로스터), reopening with a fresh new look.
While the core layout hasn't drastically changed, it feels noticeably more spacious and cleaner.

Time and Season Drinks and Dessert Menu

The menu is simply structured, offering a selection of Coffee, Non-Coffee, and Tea.
It doesn't seem like there are any special discounts for takeout. The Hoji Cream Latte, at ₩6,000 (~$4), feels quite reasonably priced compared to other options.
Here's a breakdown of some prices:
- Americano: ₩5,000 (~$4)
- Latte: ₩5,500 (~$4)
- Vanilla Latte: ₩6,000 (~$4)
- Hoji Cream Latte: ₩6,000 (~$4)
- Milk Tea: ₩6,000 (~$4)

They also offer beautifully named teas from Salvia Dabang (사루비아 다방):
- Sunday Peppermint: ₩6,500 (~$5)
- Summer Forest: ₩6,500 (~$5)
- Gabi Oolong: ₩6,500 (~$5)
- Boi Classic: ₩6,500 (~$5)

For desserts, they have two types of roll cakes and financiers. Since it was during their opening period, the owner kindly offered me a financier, so I got to pick one! What an unexpected treat! 🍀

The financier selection includes:
- Plain Financier
- Vanilla Financier
- Cinnamon Financier
- Salted Chocolate Financier
- Chocolate Financier

They also bake various sablés and pound cakes, such as Almond Croquant and White Macadamia. This extensive baking might explain why their opening hours start a bit later in the day!
When I visited, the owner was working alone. I'm not sure if there are other staff, but my drink was personally brought to my table.
Time and Season: Weridan-gil's New Cafe Menu Review

I ordered the Gabi Oolong tea and the Boni Chestnut Roll Cake.
This combination felt perfectly curated for the season – I simply couldn't resist!

As it was tea, I had hoped for loose-leaf tea with a teapot, so receiving it in a mug was a slight disappointment. However, the tea itself was still delicious.

The fork felt like a trident, almost like it was ready to plow a field! Haha, it was like a tiny excavator digging into the dessert. I've found my perfect tool for dessert demolition!
The Boni chestnuts were delightfully sweet and candied, and the roll cake itself was incredibly moist, just like a Mont Blanc. It was truly delicious.
I always wonder how people discover these hidden gems (just like I did!). Shortly after I arrived, a crowd started pouring in, making me glad I opted for the "open run."
Wrapping up my visit to Time and Season (시간과 계절) cafe on Weridan-gil (웨리단길) — it's truly the perfect spot to enjoy this current season!
