If you want to truly enjoy your time not just exploring tourist spots but also at your accommodation during your trip to Jeonju, Pool Villa Stay Sowol in Jeonju seems like a rather impressive choice.
It's a private hanok stay located within Jeonju Hanok Village, preserving the tranquil ambiance of a traditional hanok while offering an outdoor heated pool, indoor jacuzzi, beam projector, fire pit for 'bulmeong' (contemplative fire-gazing), and even a tea ceremony. There were surprisingly many things to do within the accommodation for a day.
Most importantly, as it's a private house used by only one group per day, I loved that we could spend time together without worrying about other guests.
Outdoor, Indoor

Jeonju Private Pension Stay Sowol is located at 97-16 Hyanggyo-gil, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do.
Because it's nestled within the Hanok Village, it's perfect for exploring Jeonju Hanok Village on foot while staying at the accommodation, and it was convenient for moving between tourist spots.

Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out at 11 AM. Entry is contactless. It can accommodate a standard of 2 people, up to a maximum of 8 people, and is a private pool villa in Jeonju featuring 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and a jacuzzi.

As soon as I opened the door and stepped inside, what immediately caught my eye was a space where the ambiance of an old hanok blended beautifully with modern interior design.
It wasn't just filled with a traditional feel just because it's a hanok; floor-to-ceiling windows and minimalist furniture were added, giving it an overall clean and open feel.

Stay Sowol is a place that preserved the old timber ('gojae') and 'toetmaru' (traditional Korean porch) of the original hanok, while furnishing it with modern sensibility.
The exposed rafters and wooden structure of the ceiling, combined with indirect lighting, create an even more tranquil atmosphere. The props and artworks placed throughout also harmonized well with the space, making it enjoyable to explore the accommodation.

Tea sets and tea are prepared on one side, so you can brew and enjoy a warm cup of tea.

Green tea, black tea, coffee capsules, and more were prepared, along with simple refreshments and welcome food to enjoy.

The kitchen is decorated in a clean and modern style, contrasting with the hanok ambiance.

An Illy capsule coffee machine, Balmuda toaster, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, water purifier, and more are provided, along with dishes, cups, and wine glasses.
However, due to the nature of a hanok, cooking or barbecuing is not allowed, so
For dinner, I recommend either getting takeout from Jeonju Hanok Village (전주 한옥마을) or ordering delivery.

Stay Sowol (스테이 소월), an accommodation in Jeonju Hanok Village,
is comprised of two rooms.
When two people stay, one room is opened.
If 3 to 6 people are staying, both rooms, including the one with three beds,
are used.
It can accommodate up to 8 people,
making it perfect not just for couples,
but also for family trips or getaways with friends.

The first room features a queen-sized bed,
with space around it that can be used as a hanger area or a vanity.
The bedding was also immaculately maintained,
making it a perfect spot to relax comfortably after exploring the Hanok Village.

Inside the first room,
there's a shower and a toilet.
Basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
were all thoughtfully provided, so you don't need to pack much yourself.
Everything was immaculately clean, making it incredibly comfortable to use.

The second room has two double beds placed side-by-side,
making it perfect for several people to share.
Each room has individual temperature control, which was really convenient
for setting the indoor temperature, even with a larger group traveling together.

The bathroom located in the living room also matches the overall
calm and neat ambiance of the accommodation.
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash were all
provided by Aesop, and there were plenty of towels available.
Plus, with a hairdryer and hair styling products readily available,
it was convenient to travel with lighter luggage.

The living room boasts a 100-inch large screen, a high-definition beam projector,
and a Bluetooth speaker,
so you can enjoy movies or OTT content indoors.

The Jacuzzi is connected to the outdoor space with a floor-to-ceiling window and folding doors,
creating a setup where opening the doors leads directly to the outdoor pool.
Bath salts were also provided, allowing me to soak in warm water and enjoy a relaxing half-bath.
With the folding doors open, a cool breeze drifted in, creating an outdoor ambiance,
and it was truly lovely to just unwind in the warm water with the bath salts.
However, please note that filling the Jacuzzi takes time,
so if you plan to use it, allow for approximately 1 to 2 hours.

And now for the highlight of Jeonju Pool Villa Sowol (전주 풀빌라 소월):
its outdoor heated pool, measuring approximately 6m × 2.5m, with a depth of 1.1m!
One side of the pool even has a waterfall feature,
and with a canopy overhead, it was perfect for swimming and playing
even during the strong midday sun.
Having access to a private outdoor pool at an accommodation
right within the Hanok Village felt truly unique and special.

During the day, you can enjoy splashing around while gazing at the sky and the traditional *hanok*.
As the sun sets, the night lights turn on, completely transforming the atmosphere.
Outdoors, there's a space where you can use a beam projector,
allowing you to enjoy videos or music while looking out at the pool.
So, it's not just for summer, but also for the cooler seasons,
making it a noteworthy spot for anyone looking for a Jeonju (전주) pool villa to enjoy.

On one side of the pool, there's even an ethanol fire pit table.
Instead of using firewood,
the ethanol fire pit provides gentle, flickering flames,
making it perfect for quietly enjoying a 'fire gaze' (불멍) outdoors.
After having a blast in the pool and relaxing in the warm jacuzzi,
sitting in front of the fire gaze table,
my day slowly unwound, and my mind felt completely at peace.
