The moment you step inside, you'll be drawn straight to the "Kkubuk House," home to the cafe's resident turtles. There are signs reminding you not to push or lean on the glass, but it's hard not to get close! When I visited, it was feeding time, and these adorable creatures were happily munching on lettuce leaves. Just look at all of them! 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢
From tiny baby turtles to larger ones, they come in all sizes, making them utterly irresistible. I was completely captivated! It felt like my heart was being pulled into the ocean, just like a turtle. I'm utterly obsessed!

The table right next to the turtle zone is definitely the best seat in the house. Everyone sitting there was completely engrossed in watching the turtles.

The eye-catching signboard proudly announces "Cafe Kkubuk."

Could this be the owner's pet turtle?

Review of Cafe Kkubuk's Menu near Jeonbuk National University

The Mini Kkubuk Plate comes with cute Vienna sausages, a boiled egg, tomato 🌭🥚🍅, and ciabatta bread🥖 with kaya jam.
Despite being called "mini," it was surprisingly filling! The moist boiled egg and the warm, chewy Vienna sausages were delightful. It had been a while since I had a good sausage, and this hit the spot!

The Hojicha Latte had a rich, slightly bitter, and deeply satisfying flavor.

I spread some kaya jam on the ciabatta and enjoyed it...

What's this, you ask? It's "Kkobuk"... a tomato placed on the egg, designed to resemble a turtle's shell.
A profound world of art!

While eating, I couldn't resist going back to admire the turtles one more time...
Cafe Kkubuk is truly a unique cafe experience near Jeonbuk National University.
