Jeongwon Galbi Gimpo Main Branch, the Yangchon-eup pork ribs spot I'm introducing today, is quite spacious, offering plenty of dining areas. There are even semi-private, room-like spaces, making it perfect for office dinners or gatherings.

However, be prepared... for a wait. Yes, even with all that space, this popular spot often has a queue!

It's one of those places where despite having many tables, there's still a wait. But trust me, once you taste the meat, you'll totally understand why. It's absolutely worth the wait! ❤️

They have a wide range of options, from value sets to à la carte dishes. I usually come here for their delicious ribs, but then I spotted something amazing...

At the end of the table, I noticed the O-Gal Hanpan (Squid & Ribs Platter), a limited-quantity item! (It's also on the main menu, don't worry, haha). This incredible platter comes with three servings of pork ribs and a whole seasoned grilled squid for just ~$36. Talk about amazing value! ✨️ So, I immediately ordered the O-Gal Hanpan.

As soon as I placed my order, a variety of delicious side dishes were set on our table.

If we needed more, we could grab additional side dishes from the self-serve bar. I appreciated that the fresh greens were always well-stocked.

For some side dishes, like japchae (glass noodles), that weren't at the self-serve bar, the staff was happy to bring more upon request, which was a nice touch.

Pork Ribs (Dwaeji Galbi)

Now, back to the star of the show: the meat! ❤️ While we were enjoying the side dishes, the pork ribs arrived, beautifully arranged on a platter.

These mouth-watering pork ribs are grilled right at your table over hot charcoal.

Make sure to flip the ribs frequently so they don't burn, ensuring an even cook.

Once cooked, cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Wrap a piece of juicy galbi in a fresh lettuce leaf with some onion pickle, and you've got a perfect bite! Good! ❤️

Spicy Whole Squid (Tong-Ojingeo Yangnyeom-Gui)

If you love a kick of spice, I highly recommend the O-Gal Hanpan even more! The whole seasoned squid is genuinely spicy – in the best way possible! 🔥

It's delicious on its own with its spicy seasoning, and it's also fantastic dipped in the sauce shown in the right picture.

It's the kind of flavor that makes you want to keep the drinks flowing! 🍻
