This was the day we planned to go grocery shopping on the main island of Bora Bora,
but it absolutely poured... lol...

Tahiti's cost of living is absolutely insane, hands down.
I couldn't even buy any fruit.
Wore it once and the seams on my swimsuit bottoms completely unraveled 😭

The sunset from the pool is just absolutely stunning
In Bora Bora, the resort and room vibes completely depend on whether you have a view of Mount Otemanu.
Whether you can see Mount Otemanu completely changes the resort tier and the room type.
We had an incredibly gorgeous view that opened up to both Mount Otemanu and the sparkling ocean!

Just look at how crystal clear the water is... wow...
I never did find out the name of this flower,
but I ended up taking a photo of it every single day. lol

We also took some wedding photos at the resort,
but it was so unbelievably hot that day...
...that we rushed through it and barely got any good shots lol

There was a Nespresso machine in our room, but ㅠㅠ
I didn't know beforehand, so I didn't bring my own capsules.. haha
Fortunately, I brought some Hollys instant coffee mix,
so we just drank that!
Even coffee is so expensive here ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Since it's a French territory, I was happy they served Evian water,
but wait... did that bottle cost ~$10? ^^
So glad we finished every single drop.
I had no idea they'd charge us for it!

The stars look so incredibly bright to the naked eye,
but my camera just couldn't capture them. It made me really want to buy a proper camera.
I even miss the breakfast that I thought I was getting tired of...
The day we went jet skiing!
We visited a nearby island and tried harvesting some coconuts.
I loved that I cracked mine open faster than the other guys there

They have a stingray feeding session every day at 2 PM,
but a scaredy-cat like me couldn't dare to get in the water.
My footsteps always speed up on the way to breakfast.

And yep, I ended up completely toasted.
My legs still look like I'm wearing coffee-colored stockings...

A stingray feeding program is held every day at 2 PM. Guests can go directly into the water and watch the stingrays being fed.
Local prices are quite high, with a standard meal set costing ~$19. Even a bottle of Evian water provided during meals at the resort costs ~$10.
You can enjoy a tour where you ride a jet ski to other nearby islands. Once you arrive at an island, you can experience picking coconuts yourself.
