Just Sleep Hotel Cheonan Station

During a recent business trip to Cheonan (천안), I initially stayed at the Korea University of Technology and Education (한기대) dormitory. However, weekend accommodation wasn't an option, so I needed to find a separate place for two nights.
Searching for a convenient and parking-friendly option not too far from the university by car, I stumbled upon Just Sleep Hotel Cheonan Station (저스트슬립호텔 천안역점).
I was immediately drawn to its clean facilities and the fact that it was surrounded by a traditional market and a charming mural village.

Getting There & Parking
Just Sleep Hotel Cheonan Station (저스트슬립호텔 천안역점) is tucked away in an alley within Cheonan's (천안) historic Old Downtown (원도심), so its entrance can be a little hard to spot.
Even with navigation, I took a wrong turn and had to circle back, so if it's your first time, keep an eye out for the hotel sign and entrance.
I arrived around 6:00 PM on a Saturday, and despite it being a weekend evening, the parking lot was quite spacious with plenty of spots available.
I appreciated that if the dedicated lot fills up, guests can use a nearby free public parking lot, alleviating any parking worries.

Friendly Service and a Spotless Lobby
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, but I arrived in the evening after finishing my classes.
The staff who assisted me with check-in at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
As expected from a recently renovated hotel, the lobby was immaculate, exuding a bright and neat ambiance throughout.

On one side of the lobby, there's a small convenience store where you can buy snacks, instant noodles, and beverages.
It's perfect for grabbing a quick snack or a late-night bite when you don't feel like venturing out.

Spacious and Immaculate Deluxe Room
I stayed alone in a Deluxe room, and I was genuinely impressed by how clean and spacious it was – definitely living up to its 'Deluxe' title.

By the window, there were two chairs and a small table, while one side of the room featured a PC and a large TV.
As usual, I didn't even have time to watch TV! Haha.

The cabinet neatly held a cordless kettle, brushes, paper cups, coffee, and green tea, while the refrigerator was stocked with four bottles of water.

Opening the window revealed a refreshing, open view despite being in an older part of town. The outside scenery at sunset was quite beautiful.

The room service prices seemed reasonable, and I was tempted to try it. However, I was so curious about the Cheonan Central Market (천안중앙시장) that after some deliberation, I ended up visiting the market two days in a row instead!

A Bathroom as Spacious as the Room Itself
The most impressive aspect of the Deluxe room was undoubtedly the bathroom – it was absolutely enormous!
The sink, shower area, and bathtub were all well-separated within the bathroom, making it incredibly convenient to use.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided, but you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
The bathroom floor could be a bit slippery when wet, so it's a good idea to be cautious while showering.

The Neighborhood: Cheonan Central Market and Minaritgil Mural Village
While the area around The Mains Hotel (더메인즈호텔), where I stayed previously, had a neat and sophisticated new city vibe, the neighborhood around Just Sleep Hotel Cheonan Station (저스트슬립호텔 천안역점) offered a glimpse into Cheonan's (천안) charming Old Downtown (원도심).
Just a short stroll away is the expansive Cheonan Central Market (천안중앙시장), brimming with sights to explore and delicious street food to savor.

There were so many fantastic eateries, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. I'll definitely need to dedicate a separate post to the market and its culinary delights!
Across from the market, following an old alleyway, you'll find the Minaritgil Mural Village (미나릿길 벽화마을), which was a joy to explore with its vibrant artwork.

OneuldeoMalgeum's Takeaway
The hotel itself was clean and excellent, but the added charm of the market made my business trip feel like a mini-vacation.
Both The Mains Hotel (더메인즈호텔) and Just Sleep Hotel Cheonan Station (저스트슬립호텔 천안역점) left a positive impression, each with its unique appeal. I'm proud to say I chose my accommodations well this time too!
