Havana Hotel Suite for 4 People: A Review

If you're looking to enjoy shopping and dining in Nha Trang, a city-center hotel is definitely more convenient. While the resorts in Cam Ranh often come with a higher price tag, I sought out a great value option in the city center. The Havana Hotel, a 5-star property, offers a Family City Suite that can accommodate four adults for around ~$75-~$112 per night! That's an incredible deal, working out to roughly ~$22-~$30 per person. (For two guests, rooms typically cost less than ~$75-~$75 per night).

This hotel offers both excellent value and a prime location. If you're traveling with a group of four or more friends, or on a family vacation, it's a fantastic choice!

Location & City Accessibility

Getting from the airport to the city center usually takes about 50 minutes, so it's always easier to book a pickup service in advance.

The Havana Hotel is situated right on Nha Trang Beach, allowing for immediate access to the sand and stunning ocean views from many rooms! Plus, the night market, which I've marked on the map, is just a 10-minute walk away. You can also reach popular restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops within a 15-minute stroll.

Even my favorite Vietnamese pizza spot, Pizza 4P's, is only a 5-minute walk away, making the location absolutely perfect!

While it's technically a 5-star hotel, it feels a bit different from what you might typically expect from a luxury property in the West. It's more akin to a large serviced apartment or extended-stay hotel.

However, with its 45 stories, a swimming pool, breakfast options, a kids' pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, and spa, there's actually plenty to keep you entertained and relaxed without even leaving the hotel.

Havana Nha Trang Ocean View 2-Bedroom Suite

There are various suite types for four adults, and we opted for the Ocean View 2-Bedroom Suite.

This room boasts one queen bed and two single beds, and it's absolutely massive, spanning approximately 1,290 square feet! Plus, having two bathrooms made getting ready in the mornings incredibly efficient, which was a huge bonus.

Even though the weather was a bit overcast, the expansive Nha Trang Beach view truly made me exclaim, "Ocean views are the best!"

With the city stretching along the coastline, the ocean view from our room offered a wonderfully refreshing and open feeling.

The suite includes a small kitchenette area, so you could prepare simple meals if needed, though we personally didn't use it. The refrigerator is quite large, perfect for storing fruits and drinks.

The living room also offers direct beach views and is incredibly spacious, making it perfect for enjoying late-night snacks! It almost felt like being in a cozy home away from home.

The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was clean and tidy. However, it's worth noting that this isn't a newly built hotel, so you should expect a slightly older feel. But considering the price, the quality is more than satisfactory!

Given that it's a suite, the bathrooms were also quite spacious, which I appreciated!

Basic toiletries are provided, but they're pretty standard, so if you prefer your own amenities, I recommend bringing them along.

There was also plenty of storage space, so four adults had no trouble finding room for all their luggage!

To summarize, while the location, value, and room size are excellent, don't expect the feel of a brand-new, cutting-edge 5-star hotel; it does have an older charm. Nevertheless, for a city-center hotel in Nha Trang, it offers unbeatable value, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

Keep in mind that if you choose the City View Suite, it can be even more affordable, around ~$105 for four people! Rooms for two guests are often less than ~$75. *.*

Breakfast & Facilities

Honestly, the breakfast was a bit underwhelming. I'd recommend venturing out to eat instead!

The infinity pool offers stunning ocean views, so if you enjoy swimming, it's definitely worth taking a dip!

However, for those accustomed to grand resorts, the pool here might feel a bit smaller, as it's a city hotel. On a sunny day, make sure to head across to Nha Trang Beach and enjoy some sunbathing too! >.<

Personally, when I'm exploring Nha Trang city, I often spend most of my time on tours and sightseeing. That's why, unlike the Cam Ranh resorts, I always look for value-for-money accommodation in the city center.

The Havana Hotel's location is excellent, and while it has a slightly older feel, it's still clean and comfortable. If location and value are important to you, I highly recommend it! :)
