1. Inspire Resort Food Court
Inside Inspire Resort,
there were many different restaurants,
but they all tended to be on the pricier side!
However, we were too lazy to go outside,
so we decided to have dinner at the
Inspire Resort Food Court, Oasis Gourmet Village.

Operating Hours
Weekdays: 11 AM ~ 9 PM
Weekends: 10 AM ~ 9 PM
※ Free Parking Available
Even if you're not staying overnight,
if you're visiting Inspire, I highly recommend eating here!
Since free parking is also provided,
you can avoid a parking fee shock.

The 6 restaurants operating in Oasis Gourmet Village
The seating isn't separately divided,
and you can just grab any comfortable seat,
so you're free to choose dishes from various restaurants.
Bunsik (Korean street food), Shabu-shabu, Pizza, Hamburgers,
Korean food, Chinese food – the variety was truly great!

True to its name, Oasis Gourmet Village,
there were seats designed to feel like dining in a pavilion over a pond,
but that area was quite crowded, so we opted for a quieter spot.
This particular area felt like a transplanted night street from Hong Kong.
The interior decor was so beautifully done,
many people were taking photos even in the food court.

We ordered the Bulgogi Hot Stone Pot Rice.
It was truly delicious.
So hearty and satisfying, it was simply irresistible!

This was the Beef Brisket Stir-fry, and it was just okay.
I regretted not trying a different hot stone pot rice dish instead.
If you visit, I highly recommend the Bulgogi Hot Stone Pot Rice!
2. Inspire Photo Zones

Inspire Resort: A Wonderland of Photo Zones!
They really went all out with the Christmas decorations,
so I was happily busy snapping photos!
From the cozy, living room-like setups,
to the expansive, grand plaza!
My travel buddy and I really wanted to capture some memories together,
but since it was a weekday evening, there weren't many people around,
and we couldn't find anyone to ask to take our picture, which was a bit of a bummer.

And guess what? Inspire Arena also boasted a magnificent large tree display!
Previously, there used to be a digital media show in the Rotunda every 15 and 45 minutes,
but it seems they're not running it anymore.
However, with such a truly spectacular large tree,
I absolutely recommend snapping a photo of it!

And then, 'Ta-da!' – off we went to see the Aurora Show!
This time, I only managed to catch the Space Show.
The 'issue' was, I just didn't have the energy to wait for the Whale Show too...
Inspire Resort: A Wonderland of Photo Zones!
Definitely visit around a weekday evening to capture those perfect shots!
Inspire Wellness Indoor Pool
How to Book the Inspire Resort Wellness Indoor Pool
You need to make your reservation using the tablet located in your room.

Amenities ▶ Indoor Pool ▶ Book Now
Operating hours, excluding the first session,
are structured with approximately 1 hour and 40-minute slots,
and you can enjoy the pool from check-in until check-out.

Using it on the evening of our arrival felt a bit too tiring,
and I figured it would be quite crowded, so I opted to book for the following morning instead.
Once you fill in your phone number and email address, your reservation is complete!

The next morning, I changed into my swimsuit in the room,
slipped into my robe, and made my way to the pool.
By taking the connecting passage on the 3rd floor from the Forest Tower,
I didn't run into anyone outside of fellow hotel guests,
so there was no need to feel awkward at all.

Simply confirm your reservation at the reception, and then you're all set to enter the pool.

There are sauna and shower facilities available in the locker rooms,
so it's perfectly fine to bring your washing essentials and freshen up here.
(Just remember, using the sauna and showers also needs to be done within your reserved time slot!)

We were among the first to arrive at the pool,
so we snagged some sunbeds, took a quick rinse, and then jumped right into the swimming!
I'd seen some posts suggesting that entry wouldn't be permitted without a swimming cap,
but it turned out to be a recommendation, not a strict requirement.
I saw plenty of people wearing swim caps, but just as many were swimming without them.

The shower rooms also came with amenities,
and there was even a swimsuit spin dryer, so we could have easily showered down there.
I couldn't snap any photos because of other guests,
but rest assured, hairdryers and towels were plentiful.

Though compact, there was also a dry sauna available, which I definitely made use of.
As more and more people started filling the pool,
serious swimming became a bit tricky.
So, after about 30 minutes of laps, I hit the sauna
and then headed back up to our room.
During the morning hours I visited, most people were genuinely swimming laps, not just playing around,
so it might feel a little awkward to splash in the middle
(we were serious swimmers too!).
If you're planning a fun splash session with the kids,
booking Splash Bay might be a better option.
Other Facilities to Explore

The fitness center was bustling with early birds working out.
I just peeked in from outside before moving on.

On the way to the pool from Forest Tower, I spotted the
V SPA menu.
Guests supposedly get a 10% discount, but the prices were quite luxurious, so I just admired it from afar.
If you're dreaming of a 'Hocance' (hotel vacation) near Seoul for the year-end,
I wholeheartedly recommend Inspire Resort in Yeongjongdo –
it's packed with amazing photo zones and captivating indoor attractions!
