Inspire Entertainment Resort: Our Stay Review

My last visit was a lovely date with my mom on Yeongjongdo,

where we explored the Inspire Resort.

I absolutely loved how much there was to see,

so this time, my partner and I went back for a fantastic staycation!

Staying overnight allowed us to enjoy the interior more peacefully

and leisurely, which was absolutely wonderful.

The Inspire Resort, conveniently located near Incheon International Airport,

is renowned for hosting popular events like concerts and major performances.

It also features a casino exclusively for foreign visitors,

making it a popular destination for international travelers.

Even seeing it again, the sheer scale of this resort is just breathtaking!

It was my partner's first visit,

and their jaw literally dropped at the immense size.

When I made my reservation, there was a special deal running,

so I booked a weekday one-night stay with a welcome drink package

for an incredibly affordable price!

Currently, prices have generally increased quite a bit.

3. The Inspire Resort Hotel Lobby

Check-in is officially at 3 PM,

but I'd read reviews warning about incredibly long check-in lines.

It seems most guests arrive early to queue up.

We, on the other hand, were casually exploring various spots around Yeongjongdo,

and when we finally arrived around 3:30 PM, the waiting line was already immense!

Thankfully, there was a kiosk for waitlist registration, so we quickly signed up.

It sent our queue number and estimated wait time directly to our KakaoTalk,

and even sent an alert when our turn was approaching.

This meant we didn't have to stand directly in line the entire time.

After registering for the waitlist, we found a cozy spot amidst the charming turtle decorations in the hallway.

There were also Le Space discount coupons available,

and an Inspire Resort map, which I grabbed to check out.

Since the resort is so incredibly vast, I highly recommend grabbing a map!

We were staying in the Forest Tower,

and the map was incredibly helpful for finding our way to the pool, the Aurora attraction, and more.

After waiting for about 30 minutes, we finally checked in,

and they were so apologetic for the check-in delay that

they kindly extended our check-out time by an hour as a gesture of goodwill!

After checking in, we made our way to our room in the Forest Tower.

On the first floor, there's a lovely Forest Tower Lounge,

almost like a lobby within a lobby!

The colorful hues and decorations were truly stunning.

This is exactly why we love a good hotelcation!

4. Detailed Look Inside the Guest Room

The interior of the room was also quite spacious.

The vibrant orange bed was a definite highlight!

The king-sized bed was incredibly spacious and plush.

There was even a mini sofa beside it, making it super comfy~~

There was a mini table, perfect for enjoying a meal in the evening,

or simply sipping a glass of wine.

With a large mirror in front of the table, I used it as a vanity.

The large TV was also a smart TV,

meaning you could log in to watch Netflix, TVING, Wavve, and more.

Since we were too lazy to log in, we just watched YouTube as guests!

I was puzzled at first, thinking there was only one robe in the closet,

but it turned out the other one was hanging in the bathroom.

The unique tablet system was a game-changer!

✅ You can request additional amenities.

You can also order room service using the tablet.

You'll get a total of 4 bottles of water for free,

4 Illy coffee capsules (2 caffeinated, 2 decaf),

and black tea and herbal tea bags are also complimentary.

All other food and beverages are chargeable, so refer to the mini-bar menu.

If you want to request additional mini-bar items, you can do that via the tablet too!

Espresso cups, mugs, wine glasses,

and regular glasses are all provided,

so it's a great idea to bring your own wine to enjoy.

We brought a bottle of wine from home,

but you can also buy wine at the CU convenience store next to Inspire Arena,

or from the liquor store located within the resort.

The safe, which wasn't in the closet, was cleverly tucked away in a drawer below the TV.

We didn't end up using the mini-bar or the safe.

Having Illy coffee capsules made enjoying coffee in the morning an absolute delight!

It was so wonderful, and we even requested ice via the tablet,

so we could make refreshing iced coffee as well. Absolutely fantastic!

5. Detailed Look Inside the Guest Room Bathroom

The bathroom was spacious and spotless!

With two sinks, we had plenty of space to get ready without a rush.

There was a large bathtub, but we didn't end up using it.

It was great that the shower and toilet were separately divided.

Everything was provided, except for toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Toothbrush sets are available for purchase at the minibar,

so I highly recommend bringing your own!

Another thing I loved was that plenty of towels were provided,

so it was great not having to ask for extras.

The welcome drink package I booked

offered two drinks at the Tower Lounge, located right in front of the lobby on the 1st floor.

Since it was only available for use from check-in until check-out,

I ordered my drinks to go before checking out.

While waiting for our drinks, I noticed that cakes are sold at a discount

after 6 PM!

If I had known, I would've stopped by last night.

Sweet desserts with wine would have been absolutely perfect!

We ordered the Salted Caramel Latte

and the Crème brûlée Latte.

It took a little while to prepare them,

but both were delightfully sweet and delicious.

If you're planning a year-end "hocance" (hotel vacation) near Seoul,

I highly recommend Inspire Resort,
