I just spent an amazing 2 days and 1 night with my family at the Inspire Entertainment Resort! Since I’d only ever seen photos of this place online, my expectations were sky-high.
Having experienced it myself, I completely get why so many people keep coming back.
Between the cozy accommodations and the endless activities at Inspire, a single day felt way too short.
In this post, I'll walk you through our actual itinerary—from check-in to the next morning.
Especially when traveling with kids, knowing whether the layout is convenient is super important!
So, I've put together our favorite highlights in order of how much we loved them!
📍 Inspire Entertainment Resort

3:00 PM Check-in: Pure excitement at Inspire Resort
We arrived right around 2:30 PM.
(Keep in mind you'll need to wait a bit to check in).
The moment we stepped into the lobby, the sheer scale of the place took our breath away.
We arrived early, registered for the check-in queue, and spent some time walking around and taking photos outside the hotel.
If you plan on arriving super early in the morning, you can actually head to Splash Bay first before you check in!
The check-in process was quicker than expected, and the staff were incredibly friendly, giving us a fantastic first impression.
After dropping our bags in the room and resting for a bit, we immediately headed out for some water fun.
First Stop: Splash Bay
After changing into our swimsuits, our very first destination was Splash Bay.
Since it's indoors, I loved that we didn't have to worry about the weather at all.
When heading to the pool, you'll need: swimsuits, beach towels, waterproof phone pouches, and bags for wet clothes.
There's also a designated stroller parking area.
It's also super handy to know where the tube inflation station is before you go.
Just a heads-up: they don't allow just any type of swim tube.
For younger kids, you'll have peace of mind bringing a baby seat-style tube (with leg holes).
Splash Bay has a wonderful atmosphere for kids to play in.
We drifted along the lazy river, splashing around and taking breaks whenever we needed to.
There's also a kids' water playground area in the middle, where the little ones had a blast sliding down the waterslides.
They were absolutely thrilled!
Personally, out of all the activities at Inspire Resort,
Splash Bay was where the kids spent the most time.
Time flies so fast when you're in the water!

Although we went to the Splash Bay pool, the resort also has an indoor pool reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
You can reserve a slot for this one using the tablet in your room.
If your baby is a bit too young for the bustling Splash Bay, the hotel-only indoor pool
might be a perfect alternative to look into.
Second Stop: ZZang Games Arcade
After our swim, we headed over to ZZang Games.
I honestly thought the kids would be exhausted after the pool,
but their eyes lit up the second they saw the arcade!
With so many different gaming machines available, we completely lost track of time.
We played basketball, tried some rhythm games, and even tried our hand at the claw machines—it was way more fun than I expected!
We ended up winning 4 coupon tickets here, which we traded in
for a cute Shin-chan pouch!
Slipping a quick, low-key activity like this into the schedule works perfectly when traveling with kids.
The kids were so excited to play all the games. It was really impressive how seamlessly one fun activity led to the next.
The kids kept excitedly begging us to play the claw machines, so we spent some time trying to win them prizes.
With such a wide variety of entertainment options, it's easy to see why families love coming to Inspire.
Just keep an eye on the time, because if you stay here too long, your dinner plans might get pushed back!
Make sure to move on to the next stop after a reasonable amount of play~
Third Stop: Oasis Gourmet Village (Highly Recommended!)
We originally wanted to have dinner at Oasis Gourmet Village,
but they have other dining areas as well. Since my husband was absolutely craving mulhoe (cold raw fish soup),
we decided to pack pork cutlet (donkatsu) and fried rice from Samcheongdang for the kids, and stepped out briefly to buy the cold raw fish soup.
I assumed there would be a bakery selling whole cakes inside, but they only had individual slices.
So we had to settle for a small cake. It seemed like other cake shops nearby were pretty far away, too ㅠㅠ
Maybe it's because I didn't know the local bakeries, but I couldn't find any good ones on the map..ㅠ
The kids were so hungry that they gobbled up the pork cutlet immediately, leaving only the side dishes for this photo...
We were enjoying our cold raw fish soup so much that we suddenly went, "Oh wait, we need to take a picture!" and quickly snapped this.
The atmosphere is wonderful and there are so many food options, so
I highly recommend checking out Oasis Gourmet Village.
Fourth Stop: The Aurora Show
Next, we headed over to catch the Inspire Aurora Show, which was what I was looking forward to the most.
I already thought it looked stunning in photos, but seeing it in person was on a whole different level of spectacular.
The incredible blend of immersive media art and vibrant lights filled the massive space, making us feel as though we had stepped into another dimension.
I instantly understood why this show draws such a huge crowd!
After splashing around in the water, hitting up the arcade, and grabbing some delicious food,
capping it all off with the Inspire Aurora Show
made the whole day feel incredibly complete.
It’s one of the absolute best spots for photos among all the things to do at Inspire,
so make sure your phone battery is fully charged!
After a jam-packed day of fun, we headed back to our room.
The bedding was super plush and the room was absolutely spotless, making it the perfect sanctuary to unwind.
The night view glowing outside our window set the perfect vibe, giving us those ultimate vacation feels.
As soon as we sank into the bed, all the fatigue from our active day melted away.
It really reminded me that in a great resort, even your downtime is a beautiful part of the journey.
Stop #5: The Breakfast Buffet
We started the next morning with breakfast!
We had breakfast at Chef's Kitchen.
We went during the breakfast slot from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
We snapped a quick photo here and hopped straight in line.
Since we booked a package deal, breakfast for two adults was included,
and we paid about ~$24 or ~$25 at the door for our daughter.
Our son was under 36 months old, so he got in for free.
With such a wide variety of dishes, it was so much fun sampling a bit of everything.
They had everything from traditional Korean cuisine to classic Western breakfast staples, so there was truly something for everyone.
I loved that they had a dedicated Kids' Zone section.
Even beyond that corner, there were plenty of child-friendly options throughout the buffet.
Kids can be picky and eat unpredictably,
but a buffet is perfect since they can just choose exactly what they like!
Honestly, this breakfast was easily one of the best we've ever had.
Even writing about it now on the blog makes me want to go back.
After fueling up with such a hearty meal, we felt completely recharged for another exciting day.
Instead of heading out early to find food during a trip,
it was so incredibly convenient to have a world-class breakfast right inside the resort.
Stop #6: Sweet Treats at Weeny Beeny

After finishing our breakfast, we made a stop at Weeny Beeny.
As you know, this is a spot that kids absolutely cannot walk past!
It was so much fun just looking at all the colorful, eye-catching candies and chocolates.
Letting the kids pick out a little treat at the end of the trip
always seems to become one of their favorite core memories.
We headed back to our room to pack up and get ready,
and then checked out.
We were debating where to go next—between the kids' cafes "Bounce" and "Slala," which we missed out on yesterday.
After a bit of back-and-forth, we decided on Slala!
Stop #7: Slala
We took a look around Slala before heading home.
The atmosphere was clean and there was so much to see, making it the perfect final stop on our trip.
Honestly, I think Mom and Dad ended up having way more fun for about 20 extra minutes!
Slara Kids Cafe: A Perfect Spot to Visit with Kids in Yeongjongdo
I had no idea there were so many fun things to do at Inspire Resort. We had such a blast and will definitely be back!
The kids absolutely loved it, and we are already planning another trip once our youngest grows up a bit more.
Stop #8: Gourmet Village
At this point in the itinerary, I actually highly recommend stepping outside to check out some local Yeongjongdo restaurants or catch views of the ocean!
But since we missed out on exploring last night because of my husband's sudden craving for raw fish soup,
we decided to grab lunch here before heading home! haha
We sat at a cozy floor-seating table for four, and ordered a bit of everything: Japanese food for me, Chinese for my husband, and Western food for the kids.
It was perfect because everyone got exactly what they wanted before we hit the road!
We had a few slices of pizza left over, so we got a box to pack them up ourselves
and brought them home with us.
The atmosphere was wonderfully cozy and relaxing,
and our second child was so tired that they actually fell asleep while eating pizza!
Our 1-night, 2-day getaway to Inspire Resort completely exceeded our expectations.
From the smooth check-in to Splash Bay, Jjang Arcade, Gourmet Village, the breathtaking Aurora Show, breakfast, Weeny Beeny, and Slara—everything flowed so naturally, making our days incredibly packed with fun.
The biggest highlight was definitely that it’s not just a nice place to stay; there is a non-stop lineup of things to experience all day long.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ultimate destination packed with things to do.

Check-in time is at 3:00 PM. Since there might be a wait, it is recommended to arrive early and register for the waitlist. You can use Splash Bay before checking in, allowing you to use your time efficiently.
It is recommended to bring a swimsuit, beach towel, waterproof bag, and a plastic bag for wet clothes. Not all types of tubes are allowed, so we recommend bringing a baby cruiser tube (tube with a seat) for children.
The Aurora Show runs daily from 8:00 AM to midnight. It starts at the top of every hour and lasts for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Breakfast is served from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Infants under 36 months can dine for free without any additional charge.
