It was much more relaxing for a walk than I expected, and by the end,
even checking out the Gyeongwonjae Hanok Hotel, it truly felt like a day of healing right in the heart of the city.

Today, it's home to a hanok hotel, restaurants, and cafes,
making it a great place to explore alongside a stroll through Central Park.
It's not overly large, focusing mainly on restaurants and the hotel,

02. Songdo Central Park Parking, Boat Information

I visited by car this time,
and since you can use the park's parking lot,
there's no need to worry about parking if you come by car.

When I visited, the parking fee was ~$1 per 30 minutes
and it operates 24 hours a day.
You don't have to search for a parking lot that's open late,
so I think parking here is really convenient.

Additionally, inside Songdo Central Park,
there are water taxis, canoes, boats, etc.
You can enjoy a variety of water activities here.
At the West Boathouse, you can hop on a water taxi,
while the East Boathouse offers canoes, boats, and more water leisure facilities.

The day I visited was quite hot, so
I didn't get on a boat, opting instead to search for shade.
But if I visit again on a cooler day,
I'd definitely love to experience Songdo from the lake!
03. My Honest Review of the Visit

Central Park turned out to be much bigger than I expected,
with impressively large trees dotted throughout,
giving me the unique impression of a grand urban park.

Strolling leisurely along the lake,
I felt like I could truly immerse myself in nature
even amidst the towering buildings!
It's especially lovely for families to walk and chat together.

I actually spent about 30 minutes walking,
but if you take your time to snap photos and explore at a relaxed pace,
I'd say you'll need around 1 hour.

The entire Central Park walking trail is said to be a 4 km course,
so you can plan your time accordingly, depending on your schedule!

What's more, the gentle slopes make it perfect for families,
whether you're bringing kids along or your parents.

My parents actually commented, "This is great for a walk," and
"The scenery is better than I expected," and I couldn't agree more!
If you're looking for things to do in Incheon,
it's easy to immediately think of shopping or delicious eateries, but
spending serene moments walking in a park with family
can also be a truly rewarding travel experience.

Imagine bringing a picnic blanket and lounging on the grass – that would be lovely!
And if the weather is cool enough to also enjoy a boat ride,
it would make for an even more memorable itinerary!

As you wander through Central Park,
you'll naturally find yourself arriving at Songdo Hanok Village.
To be honest, I was a little surprised at first.
That's because it wasn't quite the Hanok Village I had pictured in my mind.
My initial impression was, "Wow, there are just a lot of hanok-style restaurants here, more than I expected!"

However, as I took my time to explore,
I discovered charming spots for photos,
and the traditional hanok architecture was genuinely fascinating to admire.

In Songdo, a city dominated by towering skyscrapers,
the sudden appearance of this tranquil hanok landscape created a rather unique ambiance.
It felt like it was somewhere between disharmony and harmony,
a truly peculiar sensation.

Especially if you're visiting with your parents,
It would be great to grab a meal inside Hanok Village
and even include a visit to a cafe in your itinerary.
As it's a space where Hanok hotels, restaurants, and cafes
are all thoughtfully laid out together,
Songdo Hanok Village is wonderful for simply
taking a leisurely stroll, even if you don't plan to dine.

And if you walk a little further,
you'll spot a beautiful Hanok architectural hotel.
It's none other than Gyeongwonjae by Walkerhill!
The neat architectural beauty unique to Hanok was so captivating
that even just admiring it without staying overnight was incredibly satisfying for me.

It's normally an exclusive area for guests,
so only guests can enter the courtyard.
However, I asked if I could quickly take a few photos,
and they kindly allowed it, so I had a brief look around and captured some memories.

The Hanok exterior and the overall atmosphere were so beautiful that it made me think
I absolutely have to stay here for a night next time.
