Embark on an unforgettable Incheon boat fishing adventure in 2026! Even beginners can reel in rockfish, pollock, and croaker with Eun-a Fishing. Get ready for fresh catches and fun!
This August, I went on an Incheon boat fishing trip for the very first time.
As a complete beginner who'd never really held a fishing rod properly before,
before going, I worried about how to prepare my gear,
if I would get severe seasickness, and my mind was buzzing with worries.

But maybe it's because I went with Euna Fishing,
but the barrier to entry was actually much lower than I expected?!?
All the necessary equipment was provided,
and the Euna-ho boat itself was large and clean,
so it was quite different from the image of a fishing boat I had in my head.

On top of that, both my husband and I were beginners,
but I caught 2 fish, and my husband caught a whopping 5! Haha!
The rockfish we caught were immediately sliced into sashimi and eaten on the spot.
This experience, combined with everything else,
made it an experience I'll remember for a very long time.
1. Namhang Pleasure Fishing Boat Pier
We opted for the Saturday morning experience boat in August.
Since the departure time was 6:20 AM,
we had to arrive at the office at least 40 minutes beforehand,
so we set off super early in the morning~!
📍 Euna Fishing
Euna Fishing, Namhang Pleasure Fishing Boat Pier, 18 Chukhang-daero 166beon-gil, Jemulpo-gu, Incheon
Euna Fishing is located at
18 Chukhang-daero 166beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon,
within the Namhang Pleasure Fishing Boat Pier.

You can just search for Euna Fishing on your navigation app and find your way there easily, haha!
For parking, you can use the free pier parking lot
located inside the pier.

The parking lot opens at 5:20 AM,
so entry is possible from then onwards!
However, if you visit on a weekend,
even if you arrive before opening, the parking queue can be incredibly long,
and there isn't ample space inside,
so I recommend parking outside if possible!

So, for my peace of mind,
I simply used an external parking lot, haha!

The Fish Market Private Parking Lot
and the Incheon General Fish Market Public Parking Lot
are two convenient parking options nearby.
They're about a 10-minute walk away.
The parking fee is a maximum of ~$7 per day,
so it wasn't a huge burden at all!
2. Euna Fishing
As a boat fishing beginner, the most daunting part for me
was preparing all the gear.

I had no idea what to buy, from fishing rods to tackle,
and buying everything just for a single experience
felt quite overwhelming.
Euna Fishing offers a weekend adult experience for ~$35,
which includes essential fishing items like tackle, sinkers, and gloves!

For just an additional ~$7, you can even rent a fishing rod,
meaning you can go empty-handed and still have the full experience straight away, haha!
They also provide complimentary tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) as a snack on the boat,
along with free coffee and bottled water.

If you tell the 'Imo' (a friendly term for an older woman, often an auntie or madam) about the fish you've caught,
she'll prepare it into fresh sashimi for free!
This meant there were almost no extra costs involved.
I had done a lot of research on boat fishing before this trip,
and most places nowadays just recommend external sashimi restaurants,
without offering to slice the fish into sashimi for free themselves.
But here, you can immediately and freely
enjoy the rockfish you caught yourself,
prepared into sashimi right on the spot!
That really motivated me to make sure I caught something!
3. The Euna-ho Boat

The first thing I noticed when I stepped aboard the Euna-ho
was how incredibly large and clean it was.
I kind of expected the typical fishy smell or a bit of a messy environment on a fishing boat, you know?
But contrary to my expectations,
it was a brand new 65-passenger experience boat,
built in 2024,
and it boasted state-of-the-art facilities!

The aisles were wide, and the outdoor spaces didn't feel cramped at all.

The restrooms, in particular, were incredibly clean!

After the fishing trip,
seeing the purser meticulously clean the boat,
I understood why it stayed so spotlessly clean.
And get this!!
I usually get really seasick,
and I forgot my motion sickness medicine, so I was super worried right before we departed.
But because Euna Ho is so large and stable,
I didn't get seasick at all, haha!

The indoor area is equipped with heating and cooling, with air conditioning blowing refreshingly cool air,
so popping inside for breaks really reduced the physical strain.
A cool 20 degrees Celsius (68°F)!! LOL!

Euna Fishing (the company) professionally operates not only these experience boats (Euna Ho, Euna 3 Ho)
but also a fleet of full-day offshore boats (Teslan Ho, Sunstar Ho).
This means you can easily choose the perfect trip to fit your schedule and preferences, haha!
4. My Experience Review

Before the real fishing began,
we learned fishing methods, safety rules,
and how to bait the hooks step-by-step from the captain.
At first, my line got tangled on the bottom and snapped a few times,
and I fumbled quite a bit since I wasn't used to it...

Because of that, I called the purser over a lot,
but no matter how many times I called,
he always solved my problems right away and with such kindness.
I could comfortably keep asking questions without feeling self-conscious,
which meant I could genuinely enjoy it until the very end, haha!

Thanks to his help, even as a beginner,
I caught two fish, and my husband caught five~!!!
Most of them were rockfish (Ureok),
but we also snagged a variety of white croaker, sebastes (Bbollak), and sand lance (Jangdae)!
Feeling those gentle tugs on the fishing rod,
and then reeling in a fish...
Ah, that thrill is something else!

I immediately understood what 'the feel of the catch' truly means.
We asked the auntie (staff member) on the boat to prepare four of the rockfish we caught
and ate them as hoe (fresh sashimi).
Eating them fresh, right after catching them from the sea,
the freshness was simply unparalleled,
and it was incredibly fun, too, haha!

They also sell things like ramyeon (instant noodles) and sodas here,
so it would be great to enjoy them together, haha!

The tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) they give out for free here were so delicious
that I ate so much,
LOL,
I was too full to eat any ramyeon...
Next time, I'm definitely going to try the ramyeon too!!!
5. My Recommendation

For complete beginners who have never tried boat fishing,
I highly recommend Euna Fishing.
With equipment rental available
and the friendly purser's attentive care,
it was truly easy to catch a lot of fish
without any difficulty!!

Also, because the boat is large and clean,
it's perfect for women sensitive to fishy smells or bathroom cleanliness,
or even family gatherings with children, haha!
You can come as you are, without the burden of bringing any gear,
and still enjoy the full experience!
Before the rockfish season passes you by,
make sure to give it a try!!
You can use the free parking lot within Namhang Pleasure Fishing Boat Pier, but on weekends, parking lines can be long and spaces may be scarce. It's also a good idea to use nearby private fish market parking lots or the Incheon Comprehensive Fish Market Public Parking Lot, which are about a 10-minute walk away and cost a maximum of ~$7 per day.
The weekend adult experience costs ~$35, and basic fishing gear such as tackle, sinkers, and gloves are provided. Fishing rods can be rented for an additional ~$7, allowing you to enjoy the experience without bringing anything.
Euna Ho is a newly built, large 65-passenger experience boat launched in 2024, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, clean restrooms, and air-conditioned heating and cooling systems. Since the boat is large and stable, even those who usually suffer from severe seasickness can use it without feeling any discomfort.
You can ask the auntie on the boat to prepare your freshly caught fish into sashimi for free, which you can enjoy right away. Additionally, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) snacks, coffee, and bottled water are provided for free, while items like ramen and soft drinks are available for purchase.
