Incheon Airport
Terminal 2
Hey there, global explorers! I'm Ciel, your travel influencer-!
Honestly, after I started my series of airport posts,
I wasn't planning on writing about Incheon Airport Terminal 2 again since I'd already covered it before.
But on my recent trip to Xi'an,
as I was exploring Terminal 2,
I stumbled upon the perfect fun activity to share for Incheon Airport!
Guess what? I discovered a 'Life Four Cuts' photo booth!
So, here's my 2026 update on "Incheon International Airport Terminal 2"
and my latest review!

Incheon Airport always gets my heart racing!💙
Departure Hall

Honestly, whether you depart from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 really just depends
on which airline and flight you're taking.
So there aren't huge differences.
If there's one small difference I've noticed,
it might be that the check-in counter announcements seem just a tiny bit... slower?...
But that might totally just be my imagination!

It's great that airports these days have these
places where you can weigh your luggage!
Of course, when I'm heading out on a trip, I don't really need to weigh an empty suitcase...
But since I don't get to 'play around' at the airport very often, I just like to check... lol
If there's no one around, I sometimes quickly check my luggage weight before departure.

And normally, I don't really use the information kiosks much,
but this time I needed to exchange currency at Hana Bank, right?
I knew where Kookmin Bank and Woori Bank were located,
but Hana Bank wasn't as easy to spot...
So, I'm glad I used one of these handy information kiosks this time!
Currency Exchange

For currency exchange, you'll find Kookmin Bank, Woori Bank, and Hana Bank.
Hana Bank was a bit tucked away, small and by itself on the opposite side... hehehe.
But the staff member was super friendly, so I still recommend Hana Bank for your currency exchange!

Roaming Center

One of the great things about Incheon Airport Terminal 2 is
how comfortably and efficiently the roaming center is set up!
It's even more spacious than Terminal 1,
and with plenty of staff, things move super fast!
Travel Insurance Enrollment

We always say we'll get international travel insurance, don't we?
But it's surprisingly easy to forget!
That's when signing up right here at the airport is perfect!
Speaking from experience, I've had to use it a few times because I forgot beforehand! lol

Beyond that, you'll find convenience stores, pharmacies, and shops selling travel essentials.
The stores are quite spacious and well-arranged, making them perfect for a leisurely browse!
Food Options

Even before entering the duty-free zone, you can grab a quick bite at places like
Shake Shack or Jamba Juice.

There's also a food court offering a variety of options,
so if you need to have a meal with a friend or family member who dropped you off at the airport, dining here could be a great choice!
But personally, I usually head into the duty-free zone to grab my food. 😉
Things to Do
Smart Pass 'Life Four-Cuts' Photo Booth

You might be thinking, "Smart Pass? What does that have to do with things to do?"
While Smart Pass itself isn't exactly an 'activity,' it leads to one!

If you head nearby, you'll find a 'Life Four-Cuts' photo booth where you can snap some fun pictures!
**What's more, it's completely free,**
**and there aren't many people around!!!**
(Okay, there are *some* people... haha!)
For your reference, you can print up to 4 photos,

And honestly, the quality isn't much different from the 'Life Four-Cuts' you pay for!
(Was there a decorating option? I can't quite remember... haha, I don't usually decorate them much anyway!)
You can also receive a video via QR code, so
**if there are fewer than two teams waiting to take photos,**
**I highly recommend waiting and enjoying this fun experience.**
(If you're short on time, I suggest you skip it...
Even waiting for just one team can take surprisingly long...)
Exhibition Hall

Honestly, it wasn't something that immediately caught my eye...
Normally, I'm always rushing into the duty-free area to grab a meal as soon as I arrive at the airport.
But thanks to the love of my youngest sibling who dropped me off early this morning just so I could take photos for my blog,
I actually ended up wandering around and discovered this place!
While it's not an incredibly vast exhibition, if you're looking for a quiet spot where there aren't many people,
this is a recommended place for those who want to enjoy the airport in peace.
However, it truly is quiet... there were even hardly any people in the cafe here.
Electrical Tape for Portable Chargers at the Airport

After I finished exploring, I was about to head into the duty-free zone when I spotted this insulating tape‼️
Due to incidents of portable batteries exploding,
it seems like the regulations keep changing every time I go to the airport.
Sometimes it's Ziploc bags, then it's applying insulating tape...
Some people say you just need to stick to the quantity limits.
So, just in case, since there was insulating tape available,
I went ahead and applied it before heading in.
Duty-Free Zone

The duty-free area didn't seem particularly special, but...

Surprisingly, finding my gate and checking the display boards was really difficult.
At Terminal 1, they were immediately visible, but here they seemed absent, so I ended up wandering around searching.
Eventually, I had to go to information to ask where to find my gate, and while making my way to the gate, I finally spotted a display board...
Why is it always me who can't find these things? 😅

And beyond that, you'll find places to grab a meal,

and even pharmacies!

Everyone's beloved...
The line at Starbucks was long,

and I spotted Dunkin' too, but what really caught my eye was

these kinds of art installations (or so I thought)!
Overall, there were more of these 'rest stop' kind of spaces, you know?
It felt much better equipped than Terminal 1.

Even the boarding gate area felt more pleasant, somehow!?
Terminal 1 has its own unique charm, and
Terminal 2 has its own distinct appeal. Both are great in their own ways!

✔︎ Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Review
I originally planned to share about Pudong Airport and Kansai Airport first, but...
I really wanted to introduce the Smart Pass and the 'Insaeng Nekket' photo booths,
so I just had to upload this Incheon Airport review first! 🤣
Whether you're departing from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 at Incheon Airport,
it always manages to fill me with excitement for adventure!
Wishing you all safe and amazing travels!
