Understanding Incheon Airport's Reserved, Long-Term, and Short-Term Parking |
Incheon Airport's Reserved Parking system is designed for travelers using either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, offering dedicated online pre-booking spots.

Differences Between Reserved, Long-Term, and Short-Term Parking
All parking options offer a complimentary first 10 minutes. For stays longer than one day, the Long-Term Parking lot is generally recommended due to its more economical daily rates.
Category | Reserved Parking | Long-Term Parking | Short-Term Parking |
Availability | Pre-booking required | First-come, first-served | First-come, first-served |
Terminal Access | Shuttle | Shuttle | Direct walkway |
Hourly Rate | ~$1 | ~$1 | ~$2 |
Daily Maximum | ~$7 | ~$7 | ~$18 |
Parking Fees and Discount Benefits |
While Reserved and Long-Term parking share similar basic hourly rates, your actual cost might be lower if you qualify for certain discounts. For instance, multi-child family discounts require prior application and approval through the official website.
Vehicle Type / Status | Discount Rate |
Compact Car | 50% off |
Disabled Passenger Vehicle | 50% off |
Multi-Child Household | 50% off |
Low-Emission Vehicle | Class 1, 2: 50% off Class 3: 20% off |
How to Book Reserved Parking at Terminal 2 |
Step 1: Head to the Incheon Airport Reserved Parking Website
>> Incheon Airport Reserved Parking Site <<

Bookings can be made up to 45 days in advance of your planned entry time, but no later than 4 hours before. You can reserve a spot for a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 30 days.

Step 2: Select the appropriate Reserved Parking Lot for your terminal.

Step 3: Enter your desired entry and exit dates and times.

Once you input your dates, the system will instantly display availability and an estimated parking fee.
For example, when I checked for a 2-night, 3-day trip, it showed availability with an estimated parking fee of ~$20.

Step 4: Submit Your Reservation Request
You'll need to enter and confirm your vehicle license plate number, complete mobile phone verification, and set a password.

Here's a crucial detail: a reservation deposit of ~$7 is required. This isn't part of your parking fee; it's a separate deposit paid by credit card to finalize your booking.

Step 5: Review Your Booking Details, Then Reserve and Pay

Once payment is complete, you'll see a confirmation screen stating 'Parking reservation completed' and receive a text message with your booking details.

Mini's Top Planning Tips |
1. When to Consider Reserved Parking |
If your travel dates coincide with holidays or peak seasons, or if your itinerary is set, always check Reserved Parking availability first. Even if Reserved Parking is full, Long-Term and Short-Term lots operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Efficient Travel Flow |
When using Reserved Parking, factor in time for parking your car, walking to the shuttle stop, waiting for the shuttle, and the ride to the terminal. Don't mistake your parking lot arrival time for your airport arrival time – you might cut it too close!
3. If You're Short on Time or Traveling with Companions |
If you're with elderly parents or young children, or carrying a lot of luggage, it might be worth checking the availability and total cost of Short-Term Parking. Its direct terminal access can save precious time and effort.
Final Thoughts |
Ultimately, if you're planning to park for several days and want the peace of mind of a guaranteed spot, Reserved Parking is your best bet. However, if convenience to the terminal is your top priority, especially with family or lots of bags, comparing it with Short-Term Parking might be worthwhile.
Just remember that Short-Term Parking availability can fluctuate in real-time, so always check the Incheon Airport website for current congestion levels before you head out.
