This is a review of the breakfast buffet at Montblanc Restaurant, located in the Holiday Inn Resort Pyeongchang Alpensia Hotel, which was our wonderful accommodation during our Gangwon-do adventure.

Good morning from the Holiday Inn Hotel at Pyeongchang Alpensia Resort!
The Holiday Inn Resort Hotel was buzzing with various events and activities during our stay.
The entrance was adorned with these lovely decorations.
Holiday Inn hotels, part of the IHG group, often offer a fantastic 'Kids Free' benefit.
Specifically, if two adults staying at the hotel purchase breakfast, or if an IHG member selects breakfast as their welcome gift, up to two children can enjoy breakfast for free!
While Marriott tends to offer consistent benefits across most of its brands, I've noticed that the 'Kids Free' benefit at IHG's Holiday Inn hotels can actually vary by location.
For example, at the Holiday Inn Gwangju, the 'Kids Free' benefit isn't applicable if you choose breakfast as your welcome gift.
But here at Holiday Inn Pyeongchang, it *did* apply when we selected our welcome gift, which we were incredibly thankful for!

The interior decor exuded a delightful year-end festive vibe.
The egg station offered a wonderful variety of freshly prepared egg dishes.
And for coffee lovers, there were several coffee machines to keep you fueled!
Breakfast was always bustling, often with a line of eager diners waiting to start their day.
We noticed quite a few tourists from China, which added to the vibrant atmosphere.
It looked like many were enjoying their visit as part of group tours.
Even outside of buffet hours, the à la carte menu offered some excellent value-for-money options to enjoy.
We even spotted an adorable little tree!
And for those who love their breakfast grains, there were several types of cereal available.
A wonderful array of fresh salads was also prepared, perfect for a lighter bite.
My second child, still half-asleep, was adorably piling food onto his plate in a dreamy haze.
There's a wide variety of donuts and breads.
Sausages and scrambled eggs
Waffles, French toast, and hash browns
Soft tofu stew (sundubu), perfect for breakfast
Stir-fried noodles
Grilled mackerel and bulgogi are fantastic options for kids, too!
And yes, there was tteokbokki!
Menbosha and dim sum
Abalone gut porridge and seaweed soup
Compared to other buffets, the Korean side dishes here were exceptionally good.
There was even Saeujeong (soy-marinated shrimp)!
I ended up getting a lot of fruit-focused dishes this time!
