1. The Majestic City Walls and the Old Town

The ultimate symbol of Dubrovnik is the city walls, which circle the Old Town.

As you walk the ~2 km loop along the sturdy stone walls rising up to 25 meters high, you'll find the deep blue Adriatic Sea on one side and a sea of quaint terracotta roofs on the other. It's so breathtakingly beautiful that every single angle is a postcard-perfect photo spot.

The Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings are beautifully preserved along the main street of the Old Town, Stradun,

making it a highly popular filming location for famous commercials.

Whether you ride the cable car or drive up to the summit of Mt. Srđ, you'll be treated to a fantastic sunset view that captures the entire Old Town of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic islands in one single glance.

This is a Michelin 1-Star (Michelin 1 Star) fine dining restaurant with tables set directly on top of the medieval city walls. 

You can enjoy dinner while overlooking the yacht marina and the fortress walls from the outdoor tables curved along the ramparts. Booking during sunset is an absolute must.

While it's more of a spot for a beer or cocktail rather than a full meal, it is an absolute must-visit sunset spot on your Dubrovnik walls trip. You can sip your drink while watching thrill-seekers dive straight into the Adriatic Sea right below.
