My sister is meeting us in France later because of her busy work schedule.
So, it's a mother-daughter trip to London for now!
We flew with Lufthansa.
They handed out these chocolates on board, and they were incredibly delicious! I asked for one more, and the flight attendant was so sweet, telling me to take as many as I liked! Haha.
Just a quick tip: Lufthansa has a strict carry-on baggage limit of 17.6 lbs (8kg), so we ended up paying an extra €30 (about $33) to check our bags.

<My Honest Klook Private Airport Transfer Review>
Since I was traveling with my mom, and taking the tube or train from Heathrow to central London takes over an hour with heavy bags, I decided to book a private ride for comfort.
The reviews for Klook's private transfer looked solid, so I booked it in advance.
However, my prepaid travel SIM card started acting up, and I couldn't contact the driver at all!
As soon as we landed, I started to panic. I reached out to Klook's customer support immediately. (Pro-tip: Chat with them in English for a much faster response from the local operator!)
They suggested using WhatsApp, but since my SIM card wasn't receiving verification SMS, I couldn't activate it. It was so frustrating!
Instead, I provided the local transport company's email address.
I was worried email would take too long, but they replied incredibly fast! They shared the driver's details, and we finally managed to locate him. What a massive relief!
We paid about ~$70 for the transfer. If we hadn't found him, we would have lost that money, so I was incredibly stressed!
Thanks to their quick support, we made it to our hotel safely and comfortably. If you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with family, a private transfer is definitely the way to go!

On our way, we spotted some familiar cars and iconic sights.
Classic red double-decker buses were everywhere!
And we even caught our first glimpse of Big Ben! London's historic architecture is absolutely breathtaking.
We were also incredibly lucky with the weather. The forecast predicted rain and snow, but my 'weather fairy' luck brought us clear blue skies!
Seeing the London Eye lit up made me so excited!

A massive, friendly dog walked past us—a little intimidating but so cute!
Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster looked absolutely stunning. Even though it was quite chilly on our first night, we couldn't stop staring in awe.

Lufthansa's standard baggage allowance is 8kg. If you exceed this, you must pay an additional baggage fee of 30 euros.
The cost of Klook's private pickup service from Heathrow Airport to a downtown accommodation is ~$70. It is a convenient way to travel a distance that takes over an hour by public transport, making it useful when you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with family.
I contacted the Klook customer service center in English and was given the email address of the pickup company. I then communicated directly via that email and was able to find the driver safely.
