For those of you planning a **trip to London, UK**,

most of you will probably explore the surrounding areas through an Oxcots bus tour.

Today, I'll introduce you to a scone hotspot worth visiting in Burford,

part of the 'Cotswolds' portion of the Oxcots bus tour:

If you go on an Oxcots bus tour, you usually visit a Cotswolds village after Stonehenge.

We visited **Burford as our second Cotswolds village**.

Our guide mentioned that Burford has several great scone spots,

but most of them have limited space.

To enjoy our scones comfortably seated,

it seemed important to grab a seat quickly.

So, among the scone spots our guide recommended,

we chose this one because it was the closest to the bus parking lot.

From its exterior, the cafe exuded British charm.

The entrance is set back from the main road.

While Bakery on the hill isn't huge,

it offers seating on two floors and even a terrace.

Since it was a chilly day, we opted for a table inside on the first floor.

Seeing how quickly the tables filled up,

we were glad we decided to come in quickly.

The first floor interior had a wonderfully warm atmosphere.

The presence of a fireplace, in particular, added to its European charm.

Although we came for scones,

the cafe also offered a wide variety of other **baked goods, cakes,**

**cupcakes, pies, and other desserts**.

They even had sandwiches, making it a place where you could grab a light meal.

You can also check out the drink menu on the refrigerator next to the stairs leading up to the second floor.

Although there were many options, our goal was the

it was incredibly smooth.
