3. Inside the Room
London hotels are often known for being charmingly old but notoriously compact.
However, Citadines Holborn Covent Garden, being an apartment hotel, offered spacious rooms and excellent overall condition. It was a pleasant surprise!
The room was impeccably clean and tidy.
The room featured a separate living area and bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed and a sofa bed.
That sofa easily converts into a comfortable bed, making it perfect for three people to get a good night's sleep.
Both the living room and bedroom are equipped with televisions.
Traveling with family, you sometimes run into arguments over what to watch, right?
Having two TVs meant everyone could enjoy their preferred channels, which was a huge plus!
4. Apartment Hotel with Cooking Facilities
One of the biggest reasons I chose Citadines was the ability to cook in the room.
Dining out in London can be incredibly expensive, right?
So, I planned to cook at least one meal a day at the hotel. Having an induction cooktop and a microwave allowed us to prepare warm meals, which definitely helped us save on travel expenses.
You'll find everything you need: a microwave, induction cooktop, toaster, and even a coffee maker.
A wine opener and plenty of dishes were also readily available.
