Have a Zeed
A Michelin-Recommended Local Thai Dining Experience at IconSiam, Bangkok

When visiting IconSiam in Bangkok, many travelers flock straight to SookSiam, the famous indoor floating market food court in the basement. However, SookSiam is mostly geared toward quick snacks and street food bites, so I wouldn't recommend it for a proper sit-down meal.
Instead, I headed up to the 6th floor to find Have a Zeed, a multi-year Michelin-recommended restaurant serving up highly authentic Thai dishes. It turned out to be an incredibly satisfying dining experience!
Here is my honest review of this top-rated IconSiam spot.
1. Getting to Have a Zeed
🫕 Have a Zeed (IconSiam Branch)
Address: 6th Floor, IconSiam
Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Daily

Finding Have a Zeed on the 6th floor is quite simple. If you take the elevator, look to your left. If you are coming up by the escalator, it will be on your right.
While the 6th-floor dining area can feel like a bit of a maze, Have a Zeed's bright and welcoming storefront makes it incredibly easy to spot.

This venue has proudly earned its spot in the Bangkok Michelin Guide for consecutive years, making it a highly popular and trusted destination for both locals and international foodies looking for quality Thai cuisine.

We arrived during peak dinner hours but were lucky enough to be seated immediately without waiting. The restaurant features a variety of seating arrangements, from cozy tables for two to larger family setups. The overall atmosphere is clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Keep in mind that because this is a highly rated, well-maintained restaurant inside one of Bangkok's premier luxury malls, the prices are slightly higher than what you would find at a typical street-side spot—but the comfort, cleanliness, and air conditioning make it completely worth it.
2. The Menu

True to its reputation, Have a Zeed offers an extensive menu featuring almost every Thai delicacy imaginable.
From world-famous staples like Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Som Tum, and Khao Pad to more unique regional specialties, the sheer variety of options is impressive.

With so many choices, it took us a while to decide what to order! I highly recommend browsing their signature dishes beforehand to make ordering smoother.
3. Honest Taste Test & Review

Since we dined in a group of four, we ordered a wide range of dishes to share. Each plate proved exactly why this spot is so highly regarded among food lovers in Bangkok.

Chicken Pad Thai: 145 THB (~$4)
The Chicken Pad Thai delivered a flawless balance of sweet and tangy flavors. I absolutely loved the texture of the noodles—soft yet wonderfully chewy. While you can find Pad Thai anywhere, eating a perfectly executed version in Thailand is always a next-level experience.

Pad See Ew: 145 THB (~$4)
While similar to Pad Thai in concept, Pad See Ew offers a completely different flavor profile. Stir-fried in a dark soy sauce base, it has a rich, savory, and slightly smoky taste. The wide, flat rice noodles were delightfully chewy and held the savory sauce perfectly.

Pad Kra Prow Moo Saap: 160 THB (~$5)
This classic holy basil stir-fry with minced pork is a staple of Thai comfort food. Have a Zeed's version had a wonderful kick of heat that highlighted the fragrant basil. If you want a comforting, savory rice dish, this is a must-order.

Stir-Fried Morning Glory: 140 THB (~$4)
You can't have a Thai feast without a side of morning glory. We ordered ours with a touch of chili, and the crisp, garlicky greens acted as the perfect refreshing palate cleanser between our heavier noodle dishes.

Leng Saap (Spicy Pork Spine Soup): 345 THB (~$10)
Leng Saap is a dramatic mountain of tender pork spine drenched in a sour, spicy broth loaded with herbs. While it originally gained fame at the Jodd Fairs night market, we opted to try it here to avoid the intense market heat and ensure top-notch hygiene standards.

Because it is heavily seasoned with fresh cilantro, lime juice, and green chilies, the soup has a very sharp, sour, and herbaceous flavor that might be polarizing for some. However, the meat itself was incredibly tender and slid right off the bone. Pro tip: dipping the pork meat into the leftover savory sauce from the morning glory was an absolute game-changer!

Our total bill, including a 10% service charge, came out to 1,265 THB (about ~$37).
For four hungry travelers dining in a beautifully air-conditioned, highly hygienic mall environment, this felt incredibly reasonable. If you are looking for an exceptional, hassle-free Thai meal during your shopping spree, Have a Zeed at IconSiam is a phenomenal choice.
