The Ultimate Mango Sticky Rice Shaved Ice Near Big C Rajdamri
The Legendary Mango Kakigori at After You
Imagine sweet, ripe mangoes topped with a velvety, salted coconut cream layer, all sitting on a mountain of snow-like shaved ice. But the real magic happens when you dig deeper: hidden at the very bottom is a delicious surprise of sweet sticky rice and juicy mango chunks. It is the ultimate modern twist on Thailand's iconic Mango Sticky Rice!
Today, I am sharing a review of my visit to the After You CentralWorld branch, including the menu, prices, and how to beat the crowds.
1. About After You Dessert Cafe

Opening Hours | Daily 10:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM |
After You is one of Thailand's most beloved dessert chains, with branches scattered all over Bangkok. You can easily find them in major shopping hubs like Terminal 21, IconSiam, and near Lumphini Park.

During my trip, I visited the branch inside the CentralWorld shopping mall, which is perfectly situated right across from the massive Big C Supercenter Rajdamri (the ultimate spot for souvenir shopping).

This specific branch is tucked away on the 2nd floor of CentralWorld, located right next to the Apple Store.

Because After You is incredibly popular with both locals and tourists, you will usually encounter long lines at almost every branch. However, the CentralWorld location is surprisingly spacious, and if you time it right, you can grab a seat instantly without the dreaded wait!
2. The Menu & Prices

<< Best Sellers >>
· Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori: 295 THB (~$8) / Baby Size: 215 THB (~$6)
· Shibuya Honey Toast: 225 THB (~$6) / Baby Size: 205 THB (~$6)
While they offer a wide array of sweet treats including pancakes, specialty coffees, and teas, the Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori is the undisputed star of the show.
If you are traveling in a group, pairing the kakigori with their signature Shibuya Honey Toast—crispy on the outside, incredibly buttery and soft on the inside—is highly recommended.

They also have a dedicated retail corner where you can pick up packaged snacks, dried mangoes, pancake mixes, and signature syrups to bring home as sweet souvenirs.
3. Taster's Review: Mango Kakigori

One of the best things about After You is that they offer "Baby" sizes for their signature dishes. It is incredibly convenient if you want to sample multiple items or if you are exploring Bangkok solo!

The regular size is perfect for sharing among 2 to 4 people, while the Baby size (roughly the size of a fist) is just right for a single serving of pure bliss. 🥭

The shaved ice has a micro-fine, snow-like texture infused with real mango flavor. It comes topped with a thick, velvety sweet cream layer that balances the tartness of the mango perfectly. They also serve extra mango puree and sweet cream on the side so you can customize the sweetness as you eat.

While Bangkok has no shortage of mango dessert spots, After You's execution is consistently unmatched. It is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and get a quick sugar rush after a long day of shopping at Big C.

The real highlight is digging into the core to find the sticky rice. Even if you are normally skeptical about the texture of warm sticky rice with fruit, having it chilled inside the shaved ice completely changes the game. It is wonderfully chewy, sweet, and incredibly satisfying.

If you are looking for the absolute best modern dessert experience in Bangkok, make sure to add After You to your itinerary. With multiple convenient locations across the city, you are never too far from a refreshing bowl of Mango Kakigori!
