Bangkok's Famous After You: Known for Mango Shaved Ice

making it an absolute must-try dessert for mango sticky rice lovers!

Since After You is a popular chain, you can find branches all over Bangkok.
They are located in major shopping malls like
Terminal 21 and Iconsiam,
and there’s even one near Lumphini Park. There are plenty of locations to choose from!

I visited the branch inside the CentralWorld shopping mall,
which is located right near the Big C Supercenter.
The After You shop is located on the 2nd floor of CentralWorld,
tucked all the way in right next to the Apple Store.
Since After You’s mango shaved ice is incredibly popular with both locals and tourists,
you'll usually find long lines at almost every branch.
But for some reason, the CentralWorld branch
was surprisingly empty when I went!

They offer a wide variety of items on their menu, including
toast, shaved ice (kakigori), pancakes, and drinks.
Among them, the Mango Shaved Ice is by far the most popular!
The Shibuya Honey Toast is also famous for being crispy on the outside
and incredibly soft on the inside, so many people order it alongside their shaved ice.
There were also plenty of people who just dropped in for a quick coffee or drink,
using it as a cozy Bangkok cafe spot.
You can also purchase souvenirs to take home,
such as dried mangoes, pancake syrups, and bottled drinks.
3. My Bangkok Shaved Ice Review
One of the best things about After You is that
they offer two sizes for their toast and shaved ice: Regular and Baby.
This makes it super convenient to order depending on your group size!
The Regular size is perfect for sharing among 2 to 4 people,
while the Baby size is about the size of an adult woman's fist—
absolutely perfect for solo travelers! 🥭´-
The Mango Shaved Ice is piled high with finely shaved mango ice
that melts in your mouth like soft snow...
It's topped with sweet cream,
so when you eat them together, it's a perfectly sweet and tangy treat.
They serve extra mango sauce and cream on the side,
so you can drizzle as much as you want wherever you need an extra boost of flavor.
Since Thailand is so famous for its mangoes,
there are plenty of mango shaved ice cafes all over Bangkok,
but After You's mango bingsu is definitely my personal favorite.
Since it's right near Big C Supercenter, after you're done shopping,
stop by to rest your feet and recharge your sugar levels!
There's sticky rice hidden inside the shaved ice,
which gives it a completely different vibe than regular mango sticky rice.
I'm actually not a big fan of mango sticky rice,
but surprisingly, I didn't mind this at all!
It wasn't something I devoured instantly, but it has this addictive quality that keeps you scooping.
The rest of my group loved the chewy texture and ate it right up!
If you're searching for the ultimate mango bingsu in Bangkok,
I highly recommend After You!
You get to enjoy refreshing mango with sweet cream,
and the sticky rice inside adds a uniquely delicious texture.

But out of everything, the Mango Bingsu is by far their most popular item.
Their Shibuya Honey Toast is also famous for being crispy on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside,
so a lot of people order it right alongside their shaved ice.
Many people also just pop in for a quick coffee or drink,

3. My Honest Bangkok Bingsu Review

there are plenty of mango bingsu spots all over Bangkok,
but After You's version is definitely my personal favorite.
Since it's located right near the Big C Supercenter,
it's the perfect place to stop by, rest your feet, and get a quick sugar rush after shopping!
Inside the bingsu, you'll actually find sticky rice hidden at the bottom,
which gives it a totally different vibe from traditional mango sticky rice.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of mango sticky rice,
but I actually didn't mind this version at all!
Even though it felt a bit unusual at first, I found myself constantly scooping up more.
My friends absolutely loved the chewy texture and polished it off in no time!
If you're searching for the ultimate mango bingsu spot in Bangkok,
I highly recommend After You!
