Hwanglidan Stay is a recently opened hotel in Hwanglidan-gil that truly impressed us with its cleanliness and comfort.
What truly stood out, especially for travelers with their own wheels, was the excellent parking facilities.
Finding parking in Hwanglidan-gil can often be a headache, with many accommodations lacking dedicated spaces or offering only cramped options. But Hwanglidan Stay makes it stress-free! They offer parking directly in front of the hotel, and if that fills up, they even cover the cost of nearby public parking. You can truly relax without any parking worries during your stay.

And to perfectly round off your day, a soak in their incredible Hinoki tub truly completes the ideal Hwanglidan-gil overnight experience.

Hwanglidan-gil is notorious for challenging parking, so the fact that Hwanglidan Stay offers on-site parking AND covers public parking fees is a huge advantage for this new hotel!
While slightly outside the absolute center of Hwanglidan-gil, its location is still fantastic, offering easy access within about a 10-minute walk.
With its pick-up service and luggage storage, Hwanglidan Stay is truly the perfect Hwanglidan-gil accommodation for travelers exploring on foot.
Check-in was handled at 'EnoughPresso,' the espresso bar conveniently located on the first floor. This charming space also doubles as the cafe where breakfast is served the next morning.

Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
at the 1st-floor cafe, with portions provided per person. If you can't make it during those hours, a TO-GO service is available.
A fresh sandwich and a choice of beverage (Americano, milk, or juice) are offered, and the sandwiches were both delicious and fresh.
Be sure to request breakfast when you check in! As the weather gets a bit cooler, grabbing it to-go for a picnic nearby would be a wonderful idea.
Room Types
This new Gyeongju hotel offers several room types:
Main Building Deluxe Room (2 people, Hinoki tub)
Main Building Deluxe Room (2-3 people, Hinoki tub)
Annex Pool Executive Room (2 people, private pool)
Annex Pool Family Suite (4 people, private pool)
In the Main Building, you can unwind from your travels in a relaxing Hinoki tub, while the Annex offers private pools that can be enjoyed year-round.
(Pool depth: approximately 3.9 feet, length: approximately 19.7 feet / heated water / spin dryer available)
We stayed in Room 202 of the Main Building, which features a Hinoki tub.

Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the sheer size of the room! At approximately 605 square feet (17 pyeong), it felt incredibly spacious – truly the size of a suite by hotel standards.

As expected from a brand-new accommodation, it was impeccably clean. The fluffy, hotel-quality bedding was an absolute dream and perfectly to our taste.
Even for a two-person room, the sofa was incredibly generous in size! It was wonderfully plush and comfortable, and the spacious table was perfect for enjoying late-night snacks.
The expansive room made it easy to spread out our luggage and truly felt open and airy, never cramped.
The shower and toilet were thoughtfully separated, and the water pressure was absolutely phenomenal!
The shower pressure was so strong it felt like a massage, and hot water flowed freely and instantly.
The bathroom was also ultra-modern, featuring a bidet and even a lighted mirror. It's clear the owner spared no expense, filling the space with top-notch amenities. Honestly, it felt even better than my own home!

The absolute highlight of our Main Building room at Hwanglidan-gil Stay was the Hinoki tub. Enjoying a foot bath with some wine was pure bliss..... ♥
It completely melted away the fatigue from a full day of exploring on foot.

The complimentary welcome wine, offered as part of their opening event, was quite tasty, and the bottle itself was so aesthetically pleasing it made for perfect Instagram-worthy photos.
A relaxing bath, wine, pizza, and ice cream – it was the perfect way to conclude our short 1-night, 2-day Gyeongju trip.
Welcome wine, wine glasses, electric kettle, refrigerator (with 2 bottles of water)
Charger, tissues, air purifier, teacups, glasses, bathrobes
You'll also find a LG Styler (air dresser), LG StanbyME smart screen, and a microwave (on the 1st floor). Both the Styler and especially the StanbyME were items I'd always wanted!
Being able to watch content on the StanbyME while taking a bath was incredibly convenient. Plus, there were plenty of power outlets throughout the room, which is always a bonus! Truly a top-tier new accommodation in Hwanglidan-gil.
Guest rooms come with detailed instructions, from house rules to Hinoki tub usage, so be sure to read them after check-in.
Among Hwanglidan-gil accommodations, this Gyeongju hotel boasts the best parking facilities, spacious rooms, and modern amenities.
With its excellent range of services (pick-up, luggage storage, breakfast), Hwanglidan Stay is a new Gyeongju Hwanglidan-gil accommodation that we highly recommend, even for travelers exploring on foot.
