A ritual site from the ancient Baekje Kingdom,
the Jeongjisan Ruins is
also one of Gongju's premier scenic viewpoints.
It's especially beautiful at sunset, when the sky turns a mystical hue
and the entire downtown of Gongju
unfolds right before your eyes in a single, breathtaking view.

Just as the twilight glow slowly fades,
city lights start to flicker on one by one,
and the magical moment where day meets night
was absolutely unforgettable.

The true charm of the Jeongjisan Ruins
lies in just sitting there and quietly soaking in the view.
During that brief window where day fades into night,
the landscape unfolding across the Geumgang River
instantly became one of my absolute favorite moments in Gongju.
It's the perfect spot to pause and just admire the scenery.
Since it wasn't crowded, it felt incredibly peaceful, and
it made for a fantastic photo spot as well.
If you're looking for
a truly special night view on your Gongju trip,
this is a spot you definitely shouldn't miss.
Gongju Geumgang Iron Bridge

When talking about the nightscapes of Gongju,
the Geumgang Iron Bridge is absolute must-see.
This historic bridge, which has stood over the Geumgang River for decades,
transforms into a truly breathtaking spectacle after dark.
Once the bridge lights flickered on, they cast long beams of light
across the water,
with the shimmering reflections looking like a scene straight out of a painting.
